WOOLIES RAN OUT OF GRANNY SMITHS!!!

How will I cope, there is something so storybook evil about a perfect red delicious!!!

Apple and kiwifruit are my treats (never thought that a nice sweet crispy apple and a little tangy furry kiwifruit would be a treat but it is)!

Oh my god, the world is now going to tilt off it's axis and go spinning off into space and we will all fall off!

Batten down the hatches people......... the hunt for Grannies is about to begin!!!! I may have to resort to surprise raids on fridges of unsuspecting friends and family......

I hear you sister! This is a CRISIS!

My GSs are my current obsession and if I can’t find good, crispy ones I get Pink Lady or Fuji but Red Del do not do it for me.

What are you going to do?

Do we need to write letters to Woollies and the local council?
Let me know if you need a GS supply organised for you from the South! J

Write to your government and let NZ start exporting to Aussie!! Wont mention we have LOTS here at the moment but how can you eat them. They are cooking apples. I love our Mahana Red at the moment, soooooo crisp and sweet.

I'm soooooo happy for you! Cohen's is totally amazing isn't it????!!!!

After 7 weeks on the diet I'm a 60's girl and I do not remember being in my 60's and I thought that I could not even get there 'Im big boned etc'

It is just so amazing and I am cheering for you and love the confidence it is giving you too!

OMG - just got word that Woolies were putting out the new fruit & veg and there are some GSmiths - so off I went - only 1 tray left - are you serious, someone must have screwed up the order on that one!!!

So I bought enough to get me through the next two weeks!!!!! So all is back on an even keel - the world is set to rights and we are all safe.

But fantastic news - MY SIS IS IN THE DIARIES!! Welcome Manda and I know you will rock this - when we visit next year we are both gonna look and feel fab!

We had a great conversation this morning about tickers and goals!

All going well this week - I am loving the way I feel, loving the way I look and looking forward to it getting better.

I had a chat to SO last night about the increased attention from men in particular (fickle beings and I'm not sure how to handle it) His reply - Get into it, have fun with it, you look good, you're working hard at this, let them open doors, let them lift boxes, let them be men! We are visual creatures - you might not like it but we can't help it, we see a pretty girl and we turn into 14 year old boys!

Thinking I will keep him!

So if you are struggling with a similar issue - there is the explanation straight from the horses mouth!!! ............take care everyone!!!!

Had to giggle at his explanation there!!! I think there are times we would think they are 14 year old boys in other areas too! But shhhh don't tell them - we will let them continue to think they are not! LOL

Ok Caro, first off, LOVED this post. Mind you, your earlier one about not finding GSs made me laugh out loud... Just love your diary.

Now, I think your SO and my DH came from the same patch... Almost verbatim, DH said the same... Yes, they are fickle but doesn't it feel good??? At least they don't have the total minds of 14yo boys...

SO, DH and Kenga’s hubby – all from the same school of thought! J

I have to tell you girls that I came from EU 20 years ago to beautiful Oz [there you go, I just outed myself J ] and it was normal for me [and pretty much all women in EU] to get looks from the ♂all the time. It took me ages to get used to the OZ no-look reality/no-doors-opened/no-boxes-lifted/no coats-held and I missed it.

The female shape is a glorious thing – I’m glad to get the glances and the little gestures! Enjoy them, I’d say! We all deserve them 100%!

Were the GSs good? Do you need me to organise an apple truck from NSW to arrive 2 weeks from now? J

The Grannies were good, after a day without I appreciate them even more, I have spoken to the fruit & vege people at Woolies and voiced my displeasure.......... and they laughed at me, but I did make one promise that if the supply is ever threatened again they are to send out a general alert!!!!!

I AM OVERWEIGHT!!! Thankyou Panda for pointing out my BMI, we have done the happy dance in the lounge room!!!!!!!

My personal health goal is to have ALL measurements within normal ranges asap, and that's happening..........I hope everyone else is reaching their goals too........
