Default stagnant weight

It's been 2 weeks that my weight loss became stagnant. how long does the plateau stage normally takes? I am 18 lbs away from my target goal. is there something else that I needed to do? I have one month left to reach the goal and I'm worried I would have to extend and pay again.

There are quite a few posts on the forum about reaching a plateau. Do a search and maybe you will get an idea of what people have tried and how long it's lasted for others.

In the meantime, make sure you are following the plan 100% and haven't misread some rules and also make sure you drink all your water.

I hope you see a loss on the scales soon.

Plateaus can be long, or short...all depends on your body. Double check your program and every ingredient on your foods, and speak to your consultant...if you have one.
Rotate your meals everyday.
Have meal one for dinner
Have protein for every meal, forgo cheese and yoghurt

Breathe.....be patient, it will be ok, frustrating maybe, but ok xxx

Thank you for the encouragement. I was advised a month ago to stop eating my cheese and yogurt allowance. so, basically I'm eating egg every morning. Lol.

When you say have protein at every meal, do you mean no veggies? Is this allowed?

I am trying forgoing my fruit after dinner. I'm allowed 3 fruits a day, so trying to cut one and see what happens. I'm also upping my water intake.

No Audree, I was told to have my meat/egg meals with their vegie allowance for breakfast lunch and dinner, no yoghurt, no cheese. I'm allergic to egg, so I was having fish for breakfast which was disgusting lol

I save one fruit to have right after dinner - beautifully cut up and eaten with a desert fork (mango in summer and an orange in winter) - feels like a real treat and that I'm not missing out. I also use my cracker allowance in my meal as a thickener. Having your starch and fruit with your meal helps not to spike your insulin - it's also a trick that you learn in maintenance.

I have either had egg and on rare occasion low fat cottage cheese. I wonder if anyone has done only protein in order to move past plateau. Has anyone asked their consultant for plateau breakers? I am allowed 3 fruits a day, I've cut my after dinner fruit the last 2 days and have finally lost another pound after being at a standstill for a week. Today I am going to cut out another fruit, the one between breakfast and lunch. That wI'll leave only 1 fruit a day between lunch and dinner but that's normally the time I'm needingoing it. I will keep my crackers for now. Let's see how my body reacts. I was even thinking about adding a little exercise to break plateau. My goal was to get to 145 this month, so that's 12.6 pounds from today. There are 3 weeks left in this month. I'm also increasing my water intake to over 2 liters working toward 3 liter.
