Ways to feed the rest of the house??

I've received a few ideas on this so far, but also as suggested, I thought it would be good here as a discussion.

I'm really interested in how people go about making the meals for the rest of the people in your house? Especially the children. So far I've been making up huge pots of pasta sauces, and rice dishes and freezing them.

But now, as I get more experimental with things - my food is being eyed off by the prowlers in the kitchen!!

Quickest easiest ways to make the same dish, but with the right measurements for 1 is,...........??
