Default stress and weight loss

Hi

Im Katie and I have a question if anyone could please help me with.

I am Day 10 on my cohens diet and had a wonderful first week loss (im assuming a lot of it was fluid) Since then I have been weighing a lot during the day for comparison.

Which leads me to my question. Just this weekend past, I was put under extreme duress which has life changing consequences. Since then I seem to have gained 2kg. I know I haven't deviated once since beginning so am unable to use that. I have stuck to my diet religiously, and drank all the water (close to 3L) per day.

So is it true that stress can have a major part in our weight loss or lack there of? I am unable to ask my consultant as yet because of work committments during working hours.

Thank you for any help.

Katie
