Freezing & Defrosting - my meat is losing weight !!!
I was wondering, does anyone else have the same dilemma as me...
I have been weighing out (precisely, with 1g increments) all my meat, chicken, fish etc for the week ahead, and then freezing. However, upon defrosting and re-weighing (not sure why I do), but I have noticed that the weights are then 1 or 2 grams less...??? I realise that this may have something to do with water content, interfered with by the freezing and defrosting process. But what to do about this? As it's not that often that I will have just a spare 2 grams of Snapper in the fridge !??! Should I be concerned? thanks,
