Cold & Flu Medication, Sugar Free Strepsils etc

Hi all,

Have come down with a lovely chesty cold, sore throat etc and wondering if sugar free strepsils and the like are okay to use whilst on Cohen's??

Sugar Free Strepsils have got Isomalt/Maltitol in them and our Cohen's prescriptions say no sugar free lollies etc but I think this is same ingredient that is in the S/F Strepsils...

Anyone had any experience with cold & flu while on Cohen's and what you did to help alleviate symptoms that fits in with the guidelines??!
