Paulie's Diary
Just wanted to start my diary off.. and tell you all a little about me. I'm living in Adelaide, I'm 27 engaged and getting married in Nov! I am a previous Cohen's member, I did it last year (... however never completed the full program) I lost 37kgs on it, my starting weight being 122kgs, and my lowest was 85kgs. I felt fantastic on Cohen's, and it really did work for me! After a holiday, and engagement etc I really slacked off, and lost the plot a bit slipping back into alot of old habits! I tried and tried to get back on my program with little to no success!! ... my current weight is now sitting around 98kgs... and there is no way in hell I am going back over 100 again. So, I heard that over a period of time being off Cohens, your body chemistry can change etc, and I think that is why I was unable to stick to my old program for more than 2 weeks. So I have bitten the bullet, and paid some hard earned money for a new program, which arrived today in the mail!!! All the Adelaide clinics are closed down, so I had to go via the Perth clinic and do it via correspondence through email and phone calls. I was actually suprised to see that my weighting of foods have completely changed from my old program... I am starting my new 'prescription' tomorrow... I've already prepared my breakfast and lunch!!! A little bit about me, I'm an Enrolled nurse at present, I've been studying my Registered Nursing for the past 4 years, and I am now 2 months off of completing my degree (CAN'T wait to be done with study!) I live with my fantastic partner Allan, who is very supportive of Cohens and wants me to be happy again, as I said we are getting married in November - I have ordered my BEAUTIFUL wedding gown... in a size 14! Which I am currently NOT! ... But i will be by November! This time around I want to complete the program, refeed & maintenance!! So tomorrow is the day I start my new life on Cohens.. I'm exciting and scared. I will write tomorrow with my starting weight and Day 1 challenges! Thanks all for listening! Paula x |
