Hey guys, this is my first ever post!
Have to admit, i am a bit obsessive about the scales so will try my hardest to stay away from them.
I have had my blood test and am hoping to start Cohens early this week - the sooner the better as i am in the right head space!

Hello all,

Monchu here from the Philippines. I'm on my 9th week on the program and Refeed has been ordered. Looking forward to getting more out of this diet/lifestyle thru this forum. Hopefully, I'll be able to contribute as well.

Cheers!

Hey apple... you just start your own diary by starting a new thread in the new diaries section and call it 'apple's diary' or whatever... the approval happens later and your diary gets moved to the personal section.

Good luck!

Hi all, this is my second time around on the Cohen Diet lost a heap of weight and put it all back on again in the 8yrs I was off.
Im hoping to lose it all again.
This is my 3rd day on the diet and I feel great already.
Having seen all the recipes on this site I feel I am very confident.

Hi jaccari!

Good on you for getting back into it!

8 years maintaining, huh?! Pretty good effort. Do you know why/how you gained again? This is my 3rd time... As I have never really given maintaining a good chance.

Hi Jac,

There is a thread about it. They're called tickers: http://newyouforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3484

You can add your name and some emoticon things to the bottom of your posts. It's called your signature. You go to 'user CP' which is available from any page in the top right corner... And on the left you'll see a link for 'edit signature' or similar.

Good Luck!

What yoghurt are you using and what saladas or crackers do you use, when I was on this diet the last time I used to eat the paradise crackers but you cant but them anymore.

You should really ask your clinic about the brands of yoghurt and crackers, as every State and every country differs

Hi Thanks for your input... Im not with any clinic, I got a plan from Cohens clinic 10 yrs ago (wow time has flown by)
I have tried to do the diet over and over, the thing was I had no support.
I found this forum and now im into my sec week of the lifestyle change, so im hoping with the information I get from this site I can continue with this and keep losing weight.

Good luck using your old program. Remember if you are feeling hungry or irritable you will need a new plan. 10 years is a very long time between plans but being in your second week, you sound on top of the world - wooooo.

The information on this forum is not always accurate, so if you can get support from a clinic, I would suggest you do that.

Hi All,

I am 7 weeks in on my Cohens and I am a self confessed scale jumper. So much so that I have made a spreadsheet to track my weight loss. It is a roller coaster ride as I am only 3.5kg from my goal weight, one day I will lose 1kg the next day I will put on a 1/2 a kilo. I know that it is water loading but it is frustrating and can be demotivating so I can see why they tell you not to weigh yourself. Overall it averages out to 0.3 kg a day.

Otherwise I can't speak highly enough of this eating plan, I had tried a lot of other programs and had limited success but on Cohen's I am 16 kg down in 7 weeks. Not only that I feel a lot better and don't have to eat the bland food offered by Jenny or drink any stupid shakes. If you are considering doing it, go for it!

Am looking forward to getting to my goal weight and completing the program as I am starting to struggle, nice to chat to other like minded people.

Anthony
