Thank you all for your well wishes - I have just got home to Mums and there is a huge storm going . Anyway Jenny and I have just had a most enjoyable afternoon with Bronwyn at her house on Bribie Island - that was my first visit to a clinic and it was so good to meet my consultant after dealing with her for the last 20 weeks over the phone and through email. Bronwyn is a great person and and like all consultants with Cohen's is an expert and wealth of knowledge about Cohen's. She also very proudly showed us her photo of herself with Dr Cohen !!!!!!! whom she has had the pleasure of meeting in person so time back.

All good - thanks and keep on with your good work - and don't be fooled by the commercialism of Christmas - stick to your plan and achieve your dreams - you can and will do it !!!!

I had a lovely lunch on Bribie at a very good little Deli that knows Cohens well and had no problem in weigh my meal out to the exact proportions - Turkey Breast and Salad - so it does pay to ask as some persons are just so obliging and happy to help others.

Good morning all - beautiful day here this morning. It rained well last night and this morning the sun is out and the birds are a twitter !!!!!

All else well - and Koh I have been for a look (bit of a perve ) to the beach but wore my shorts and shirt - still a bit self conscious I guess. But the sites were soothing and eye sight increased although there were some big girls and boys and I felt like telling them about Cohen's - they really needed it and were gamer than I to go public on a beach !!!!!

Whilst getting my blood test the lady told me that the amount of overweight people coming into get blood tests has increased from about 1 a week a few years ago to 20 a week now - some so big they can't get into the chair !!!!!!! She was telling me how lots have to go into the big Santa chair sideways - the country really does have a problem. Lucky for all of us we now know the secret - thanks to the program - Santa's Plan. (Maybe a new smilie needed - a dancing slim Santa waiving a plan about here - Baloo)

Any way off to the shops again today and to have a look about - having a hoot down here in the big smoke - but hard to hold onto those hard earned $10 notes !!!!!!!!!!

Have a good day everyone

Andy

Good for you Andy to be over half way done. No deviations you are just smokin along.
Have a great holiday. I can relate to what you are talking about on the beach front when in Florida last year there were plenty there including me that needed Cohen's. But then I wasn't walkin around as big as I was with no much on either. Some just don't seem to care what they look like half undressed. I guess they figure no one knows them so what the heck.
Yep we know the secret and will all be looking hot in our swim suits when we are done.

Hi Andy,

I just read this little quote from Sezi's diary - it really resonated with me and I wanted to say thanks for sharing yoru wisdom around. Some days it can get pretty stressful, particularily at that 4 hour mark. A glass of water and 1/h an apple does help but a mental health check is a good tip too.

Take a five minute check of ourselves most days and apply a fairness test -
is it:
fair to me
fair to others
fair for all and
is it what our partner, body and soul think is fair and would it be fair for others in my life as well.

Thanks
Daisy

I had to re-read your 1.7m measurement loss. That is truly incredible! You have achieved so much...not just for yourself, but for all of us who choose to journey with you as you are such an inspiration. Thank you.

Jackie

PS. I know what you mean about having the Cohen program close by.

A friend borrowed my Cohen program for the night to read what it was about and promised to return it the next morning. By mid-morning I was filled with dread as I thought that I might have to deviate because I couldn't remember what the lunch grams would be EXACTLY. She didn't arrive till early evening and I managed to get the grams right (luck!). Funny how after 14 weeks I still can't remember all the different combinations for lunch and dinner!

Well I have not posted and hardly had time to read the forum - life is full on here at the coast - and my waist is going down hill fast. I have stuck 100 % whilst here at this morning was at 102.3 - will update ticker etc later next week maybe when I hit that "99" Life is good and getting better - I have been walking since down here - purley because the coastal walking track here is just so beutiful - and I just love the weather - I usually start at about 5 most mornings and get back by 8 am - just wandering along and looking about. I am having a ball and feel so fit and full of life at the moment - life is good. Christmass day was no trouble and my family are just so happy to see me almost 40 kg lighter - well 37 and a bit they made sure I didn't get any more than my share and then arranged a pickup job for me to do whilst they ate desert - which was so kind. It has also been so good to have my three children with us - first time in about 6 or 7 years that we all were at home for Christmass - and my daughter is home after 4 years overseas - so it has been a wonderful few days - and food was not part of it - I have taken them all out for tea a couple of times and just had salad and asked for steak to be weighed then just cut it back to size at the table - my daughter who has not had a good bit of steak for a few years - quickly cuts it back and eats it - telling me its not wasted going her way !!!!!

All good will catch up next year with you all. Thanks for your support in 2007 and I look forward to your succcess in the new year.

Andy

Well today is the last day of 2007 - its also my weighing day and I am pleased to say that this morning I stand at 101.7 - yes that’s 101 .7 - not a radio station but my weight after 18 full weeks - I am still 100 % to the plan - after Christmas, my birthday and family birthdays, family reunions, and plain hard days of mental anguish. What a year it has been for me - so much of my life has changed in 2007 it will go down as one of my greatest years for me personally - I have achieved lots and renewed and revitalized my life. Cohen’s has been a big key but really "my own mind over matter" has been the key to pulling lots of things together to make what it is on 31/12/2007.

To all the new joiners to this forum and to each and everyone working away on this lifestyle change - please be honest with yourself and confront the challenge that life presents to you - you have not only started a weight reduction plan but a change of lifestyle and it can be very confronting - but don't drop the ball - play hard and win.

I have been on holidays - and confronted much - but feel like a dragon slayer at the moment - I have stood and defended and I have won .......... and if I can you can and will!!!!!!! Without a doubt do the same.

To each and every person who has read my diary and comments over the last four and a half months - I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support - it has been a key factor in my success on this program.

So again THANK YOU.

All the best - catch you next year!!!!!!

Andy
