Re: hermesetas sweetener
Thanks Jlou! I think that is where I am going wrong, I made a cup of black coffee the other day and thought mmmm I normally have 2 sugars so instead I used 2 tablets, well 1 sip was all it took for me to spit it out....it was sooo horrible!! I have avoided having coffee since cos I thought the sweeteners were yucky! thanks for the tip, I will try with only 1/2 a tab! woo hoo coffee here I come!!

Re: hermesetas sweetener
I only have it in my yoghurt. I can drink tea now without sweetner but the yoghut has still got me beat. But i have cut down to 1/4 teaspoon in my allowance now so I am pretty happy about that

Hermesetas Stevia Tablets
Hi guys,
My brother will be in Brisbane for two weeks and I am asking him to help me get Hermesetas Stevia Tablets to bring them back to Singapore. I was wondering where in Brisbane can he find this? Are they available in pharmacies or supermarkets? Anyone here uses this artificial sweetener and knows how much it will cost? Any tips on where to get this most conveniently will help very much! Thanks in advance!

Re: Hermesetas Stevia Tablets
Actually I don't have to get the Hermesetas brand of Stevia tablets. Any brand will do as long it doesn't have added starch or other non allowed additives.

Re: Hermesetas Stevia Tablets
Depends whether you want Hermesetas or Stevia. Hermesetas is available at most supermarkets, the only place I have found Stevia is in the health food shop?? I paid $13 for Stevia and about $5-6 for the Hermesetas. The Hermesetas was sweeter I think.

Re: Hermesetas Stevia Tablets
Hi. I am a newbie here and still learning :-p
Does anyone know if Hermesetas tastes better than Equal (which I absolutely hate)? Cos I can drink tea with no milk no sugar (that is my normal method of drinking tea anyway), but cannot handle coffee without sugar... and sometime it is nice to have coffee instead of tea :-p. Also, is Hermesetas available in Singapore, does anyone know? I am in Kuala Lumpur and have not been able to find it here. Thanks Sheila

Re: Hermesetas Stevia Tablets
Hi Sheila
Hermesetas is available in Singapore. I bought mine at Cold Storage. Its $3.95 for 300 tablets. Really cheap. But note that it is the sacchrin one which I heard its not so good. In Australia they sell the Stevia ones which I read from the internet is a more natural sweetener. Hence I am planning to ask my brother to buy 3 - 4 200 tablets ones back to Singapore. Can't find any on iherb.com

Re: Hermesetas Stevia Tablets
Thanks DP.
Will be in SG in mid-May, so shall get myself some hermesetas and give it a try. Must admit I don't really like the taste of saccharin, but HATE the taste of Equal, so will have to give the hermesetas a try. Nothing ventured, nothing gained (or Lost in the case of us Cohenites :-p ) Sheila

Re: hermesetas sweetener
Hi Kimmy, apologies for taking so long to respond :-p.
Thank you so much for the offer, but don't worry about sending - the postage alone would cost more than the sugar would! But it is awfully awfully thoughtful of you to think of doing that!
