Soon enough you will be cruising as the zone kicks in. But that won't happen if you keep tripping yourself up. For now, you'll be facing a headwind - but, soon enough, by staying on track, that wind will turn around and carry you forward, and keep you safely on track. It does need a bit of effort to get there though. How about it, FF? You're up for it, aren't you? Koh

Re: This one's for freddie
Hey ForFreddie - I know what you mean about the comments that sound like "you used to look like crap but now..." (I had someone say to me that OMG I was actually attractive - I don't tihnk she realised quite how it came out - made me laugh fortunately rather than scream).
And I'm with Koh about what a great addiction to have - I have to keep swapping my food addiction for this place - can't type and eat fortunately (although hasn't always stopped me at work - hmmmm... - lol) And also Koh has got it - you will soon cease to be the OB*** word - that is fantastic and then you can focus on being a healthy BMI - its a fabulous feeling and well worth the wait. Cheers - Kay. |

Re: This one's for freddie
Hey, even if you did fall off the bus...the important thing is that you got straight back on and plan to stay there!! You can't change the past, but you sure can control your future!!! Well done!

Re: This one's for freddie
Hi FF, how are you today? Good on you for scrambling quickly back on the bus.You are very wise to see that it would be best to stay away from situations that you maybe cannot handle just yet. Some things are unavoidable but lots are avoidable and this is so important to you so fool proof it as much as you can.You will get to the stage where you are on auto pilot and just cruise along.Have a happy day.

Re: This one's for freddie
Hi mumandnana - my day has been terrible, thanks for asking!
With this horrid weather I thought I was going to be stuck indoors with Master 2. But oh no, he had different plans...... Managed to get the childproof top off a bottle of Pamol and drink the lot. So we spent the day in Emergency and he had to have 2 blood tests to make sure the levels weren't toxic. It was a close thing but luckily he didn't need any treatment and is home sleeping it off now. PHEW I managed to chuck some cheese, crackers and celery in the bag before we went to hospital so stayed on my plan despite being at the hospital for 6 hours. Thanks for your visits Kay, FMA and Koh it seems to be getting easier to stay on track and have weigh in tomorrow so hoping hoping hoping for BMI < 30. Fingers crossed. ff |

Re: This one's for freddie
Hi ForFreddie,
Well, after today, if you make it down that much by tomorrow, I'd call that a minor miracle !! The littlies DO have a way to make an ordinary day turn into something else, eh? Anyway, you know it is working, and you also know that (Master 2 willing ) that you WILL make it further down on the scales.... one day.... some day..... Big hugs to you Mum, for being what you needed to be today - and you stayed true to Plan too? Awesome !! Koh

Hey ForFreddie - gosh being a mum is full on at times isn't it. I'm so glad your boy is ok. And what great foresight to toss some plan food in your bag - well done (that is always a sign to me that its becoming a habit to eat this way).
I have my fingers crossed for your weigh in - you are indeed very close to dropping it below 30 - what a fantastic thing!! Cheers - Kay. |

Re: This one's for freddie
Oh FF, what a ghastly day! But what a relief that he is okay now and you did brilliantly in the panic of the moment to get the right food together.Hooray for cheese and crackers ! It only takes a moment to get them together.Celery is fine to eat raw and so are tomatoes.

Re: This one's for freddie
WOW!!! How did I miss this?? That is fantastic...you are gonna be one HOT yummy mummy in no time at all!! Start looking at those tankini's girl!!
So sorry to hear about your son..I hope he is all recovered now. Kids sure have a way of making life as dull-free as possible don't they! Funny how if you want them to take medicine they won't do it...yet drink a whole bottle just for fun and they are right in there skulling it down! Great work managing to grab some Cohen-friendly food on your rush out the door and sticking to plan through a stressful time...shows some great progress there managing to NOT use food as a crutch!! Keep up the great work!!!

Re: This one's for freddie
Hi all
Quiet boring Cohen friendly weekend... I should be grateful really cos its kept me D free but I just wish the weather would cheer up. I think its been raining here non stop for a week. YUK Did go out on friday and just had a diet coke while otheris ate dinner. Didn't really enjoy having to explain WHY I wasn't eating as it does sound like complete madness when you try and explain it to the skinny people! Saw a good friend today who has been on holiday for 2 weeks and she noticed straight away that I was looked different so that was a buzz. I guess my only gripe is that I'm feeling a bit uninspired when it comes to preparing meals and have started just doing one type of veg with my protein as I can't be bothered cutting up lots of tiny bits of different veg which means things are a bit boring but this is fuel not entertainment so I'll stop grumbling and go to bed. Looking forward to my mushroom omlette for Sunday brekkie already G'night ff |

Re: This one's for freddie
Ok FF. Hit me up. Give me a protein and some veg and I'll try to come up with something that will inspire you!
I've been there myself and it's aweful when you get into a 'couldn't be bothered' mind space - that was where my head was at... So, give me the challenge and I'll see what I can come up with. |
