Hello my dear Vee

I'm so glad you got some well-deserved me time - always a good thing! And wow-weeeeee! Size 12 leather trousers! Bet you look great in them. And yes, I'll put my money on the table and say that they'll definitely be way too loose by the time this whole lark is done, but hey, a bit of shopping never killed anyone!

Keep up the fine work, Vee! And thanks for your continued support!

So glad you enjoyed your time off, pretty lady, you really deserve it! Looks like you and I love playing catch-up with each other! First one, then the other being ahead! What matters, though, is that we will finish this in style!

Hope being back to work wasn't too hard for you. I find it difficult to return to work after a holiday. Takes a while to get the brain and the body back in gear

Take good care and have a wonderful week!

Ok, Katie, just as you requested! I put on my leathers and got my photographer to snap a pic!

Pretty happy with the result!

Thanks Louise, Shanara, Francesca and Mette! I'm feeling a lot better after a bit of a rest and time to relax. Work today was good, had a bit of a headache at the end of the day, but not a splitting one! I've had a good day!

Hi Vee,

"Understatement of the Year" follows:-

Hehe - LOOK AT YOU !!! You look like the cat that got the canary !!! And WHY NOT???

Awesome stuff, Vee - are you able to believe it yet? Is it finally sinking in? (that you've done this, and the mirrors really DON'T lie, despite what your mind says....)

Rock on girl, not for too much longer (that me time must have really helped you, right down to the core) You are STEAMING !!!

Hugs,

Koh

LOL @ Koh! Thanks!

I'm still having trouble believing it! But happy non-the-less!
I think it's going to take my mind quite some time to catch up with my body!

I'm up 200g today. But that's ok cause I know I'm 100% on the program, so it's just one of those water fluctuations.

It was so good coming home last night after work and not having to even think about doing study! It made for a very relaxing evening!

Thanks HB and Shanara! I have to admit, it really feels good being able to get into those leathers. It's been over 18 years since I was able to wear those pants!
Once, when I was wearing that outfit, some guy asked me where my whip was! After I twigged what he meant, I almost cracked up!

Mmmmmm, now where does one go wearing such gear? I'm so out of the "going out" scene! To me going out is either going out for a meal and movie or catching up with friends! LOL

Have a great day everyone!

Vee

It's such a great feeling to come home and not have the thoughts of study over your head isn't it?!!!

I'm sure the 200g will disappear quickly

As for the leathers... I really don't know where you could go hehe

OMG! Look at you, sexy lady!! Looking hot in those leathers!! *wolf whistles* I think you could wear that out to a dinner! Or you could get a Harley!!!

Lucky you, being all relaxed with the exam studying being over! 2 more weeks and I will be joining you in that!

The scales wouldn't move again this morning. Still stuck on the same. This fat really is being most annoyingly stubbor!!

Today will be a diffent kind of day for me. I've got a corporate induction day, which will take the whole day, and morning and afternoon tea, as well as lunch are catered for. Mmmm that's a bit of a challenge for me. I've decided anyway, that I'm taking my own lunch and some crispbreads and an apple to see me through. I'm also hoping its not going to be too boring so that the food is the only thing worth focussing on!! It will be a real test to see if I can break those old habits! I still don't really feel ready for such a test, but I know I'm going to have to face it sooner or later and looks like sooner has arrived!

Thanks for the visit Mette and Ellabelle! Lovely to see you as always!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Vee

Hi Vee,
Quote:
I think it's going to take my mind quite some time to catch up with my body!

Help it along a bit then.... Many on here say "catching their reflection in a shop window" often tells them more than standing in front of the mirror.

I guess it's because that's an impromptu glimpse, rather than a considered appraisal. The mind is a complex beast - so give it a serve by being devious - seek out shop windows rather than mirrors Who knows, it may work for you too,

Hugs,

Koh

I hope your induction day went well, Vee! I'm sure you beat those temptations with your head held high!

Don't stress about the stubborn fat. It will move eventually!

Induction went well, and I stuck to my plan and ate my own foods.

The morning tea, they went all out with cream buns, caramel tarts, brownies etc.... I munched on my apple.

I was dreading afternoon tea incase it was similar foods to morning tea, but luckily it was all fruit sliced up, so that was easy to resist, as were the sandwiches at lunch time.

I was so glad I got through it all without it being too difficult! I know such events are a major challenge for me, and it was good to see that my resistance muscle has gotten stronger and was working well today!

Thanks to all of you who dropped in! Shanara, Ellabelle, Koh and Mette!

Koh, I do a double take when catching my reflection, and I keep thinking I'm looking good when I see myself. The thing is I look good in smaller clothes, but underneath, with the loose skin, it's not so attractive, and while I'm extremely happy I'm A LOT smaller, I think I'm suffering from 'perfectionism' in a way Suzie described in her diary recently. Logically I know it is silly, and I'm just going to have to work harder on changing my perspective on it.
It is still all such a mystery and very exciting to wonder what I'll look like at goal weight!

Vee

Vee

What can I say but

WOOOOOOWWWEEEEEEE looking hot there.

A belated ty for posting the pic. You have truly transformed. I can see that proudness in your face. And so you should.

It's a marvelous feeling to fit into something you never thought you would ever again. Yikes what a mouthful LOL

Again, well done for resisting all those bad naughty cakes etc. You have grown stronger and stronger. All the better to set you up correctly in maintenance.

Katie

Just seeing your pic really made my day.

Vee, good on you for resisting the buns. Funny thing is not so long ago we may well have indulged without giving it too much thought, but felt a bit guilty. Now its probably the others doing that and thinking how disciplined you are! I have to do a lot of catering in my job and its amazing how often someone will say no, they are dieting, only to succumb!

Keep up the great work, the results are certainly showing on the scales. Looking great in your pic!

I'm obviously "integrating" again, as my weekly loss was only 200g this week. I must admit I'm a bit disappointed, and hope that this picks up as others have claimed it does. I'll just keep on plodding along with it.

Thanks for dropping by Katie and Louise! Glad you liked the pic Katie! I have to say I felt very chuffed at reaching that milestone that I didn't even know I had set for myself! Still trying to get my head around the fantastic results that I have achieved that I never thought was possible less than a year ago!

Louise, I used to be one of those people who always succumbed. That's why I knew it was such a challenge for me. Just goes to show how you grow on the program!

Not much else to report.

Hope everyone is going great and has a lovely end of week!

Vee
