Hi MumChum,

Yeah - what they all said !!

Rock on, wee girl - your future awaits (you might be a single year older, but already looking ten years younger.... if you don't quite see it yet, you will - in time !! )

Phew - well I thought I was going to sneak thru yesterday & pretend it was a normal day. I see that was a bit of an impossibility. LOL Thank you to everyone for their good wishes. It was awesome!

Its also nice to know that I will never again in my life be as heavy as I was on my birthday this year.

I went to lunch with my Mum, sisters & 1 daughter & got to wear a new shirt I scored at least weeks clothes swap (thanks girls) When I got back to work, the girls had put a birthday cake on my desk. I wish I knew how to take photos off phones cos it was classic. Actually it was a tomato with a candle in the middle set on some garden leaves (they meant to bring lettuce but forgot) with a little "happy birthday" across the front. I burst out laughing, as you can imagine. They would have been happy to share it with me if I'd wanted to cut it up lol.

Oh and I deviated yesterday as well BOOHOO. I was running late and hadn't had breakfast or cooked lunch so gulped breakfast down(egg/vegetables on ricecake) then got ready. Suddenly remembered my vitamins, and they absorb better with a meal, so quick thinking, I'll just have a salada square with them. 1/2 way thru the salada square I remembered "OH NO!!!! I've already had my cracker for breakfast". Unfortunately I'd already swallowed the 1st mouthful, but the rest landed in the bin as quick as I could get it out of my mouth. LOL.
How alert must we be with everything that passes the lips. GRRR!

Down another 1kg this morning, Still haven't been game to touch the yoghurt which is waiting patiently to be used but I'm going to have to do it - just to see if it slows things down again.

Off to update the ticker. Happy losing everyone.

Hey MC...

Good to read you had a nice lunch for your birthday!! And in a new skirt too, ooh la la!

Bummer about the deviation! It is so true, we can't get too relaxed in the program, we always have to think before we let something pass our lips! hehe.

Love the tomato birthday cake... how cute of them!

TMI alert. I have finally worked out how to refill those "now too big" bras. You've heard the phrase - put a sock in it - well put the sock in the bottom part (I used a small sock) - and it worked a treat. TMI disabled.

Hahahaha MC, it's the grown-up version of stuffing a training bra with tissues

You can also get those 'chicken fillet' thingys. The rubbery silicone flesh coloured things you can slip in the bra for a boost/filling up the cups.

And I love the birthday 'cake' story....what a lovely and silly idea! Glad you had a good bday

LOL imagine if my 13 year old caught me doing that - she would then know I am totally NOT cool...a belief she is desperately trying to hold on to although I and her friends tell her she is wrong.!

LOL @ bra stuffing!

I am like a small B cup now (boo, I was a C), and so all my B cups are already a bit loose (used to squeeze into some), and well, the C cup bras are just a big joke! I have been using chicken fillets to plump them up... haha.

Good to see you are going so well, and that you have found an inventive way to fill those "too big" bras!

Oh my goodness - I just changed my ticker and I'm getting close to the 70s. Altho I've been determined all the way, I think the belief kicked in this morning that it really IS going to happen. Which probably seems a bit contradictory because if I see small clothes that I like at the markets now, I buy them (usually around the $1 - $2 mark so it not costing me much if I don't).

Last week was a bit of a non event. Changed my ticker - down 200gr. Don't know why I bothered - certainly didn't want to post. Then about 2 days later, I dropped some more. I wish the scales would realise that Wednesday is the day I need to see a good figure and oblige but they rarely do. Today I popped on and it was down about 2 kg from last week. YAY - BUT - not only am I a daily serial weigher, I have to hop on 3 or 4 times. So this morning I couldn't believe my eyes, and had to check it out. STUPID ME!!! by the time I had finished hopping on and off it had gone up 1/2 kg, and stayed there every time I got on after. Oh well. At least I know its not far away. I'm still down 1.4kg this week so pretty happy with that.

I had a couple of comments made at the weekend which boosted my morale and wasn't going to write about them, but wanted to record them for memory sake, so - where else but in my diary.

Was at the markets Sunday morning and often chat to a friend of my Mums who is there with her daughters. This last Sunday, they told me I am "melting away and I'd better hang on before I disappear altogether". Seeing I still weigh over 80kg, I don't think that is going to happen LOL.

Then later that day, my Aunt called me Miss Australia. Whoa excuse me? What do you mean? well you've lost so much weight, you are looking good. Are you still losing? Let me just say here, that my aunts aren't really into paying compliments too often, so I certainly lapped that one up lol.

Anyway, time is running out & work is calling. Thats enough memory digging for this week.

HAPPY LOSING everyone.

HI MC
When you get to the 70's you will be very pleased. My body seems to have changed since I got there. Anyway you have lost 32kg already and thats a feat on its own. So amazing. You should be real proud of yourself and take in all the compliments

That's an excellent loss for the week, MC! Well done!
Gotta love all those compliments!

You are doing so well, and it is kinda difficult to imagine how things will be for you at goal, when it seems like the unattainable! Look at it all like a wonderful new adventure, and before you know it, you will be there, living it and experiencing it! You will love it! I'm so excited for you!

And you are so close to the 70s too! Yay. I weigh a little more than you so hopefully we can celebrate getting there together!

Have a good fat melting week!

Vee

Woo hoo Mum Chum, that is a brilliant loss and such an incredible motivator for you, you must be so thrilled and deservedly so. Tickers are blocked at work so I can't see yours right now, but by all accounts you are teetering on the edge of becoming a 70's girls, congratulations.
