Woohoo !!

There was a big smile on my face reading that, Just. You know, one of those smug "I knew that would happen!" kinds of smiles..... Of course you were going to blow it away - and yeah, the good Doc deserves accolades, but there is one more important ingredient..... It is a secret, but I'll tell you, because you really deserve to know it. Here we go....

(sshhh - it's you...)

Yeah, really !! Keep on being your own newest best friend, and 110, 100, 90, etc will all go the same way too.

I have another 8wks on my official program then I’ll have to extend for 3mths which finishes 22/12 lol. I should be a lot closer to my goal by then and probably completely over the program lol
You so will be, but if there is a discount on offer, I would suggest go for 6 months rather than two threes. Why?

Because those in the Hall of Fame who had similar large amounts to shed took just on a year (and that includes Refeed). And, you will NEED all the good oil that you get from your clinic to get you safely into Maintenance so that you can do the rest (of your life) yourself.

Anyway, young lady, that is SO awesome news and you can continue to (try to) hide your slimming bod for another few months - if you can.

Rock on Just,

Koh

Morning

I updated my ticker cause I’m proud of my achievement - now s*** gets real. If memory serves me correct last time I couldn’t hide it anymore skmewhere between here and 100? The wheels fell off the pressure piled on - from people noticing. What I am stoked with is by the time the weather heats up I’ll be able to wear normal clothes, not shirts that look like bed sheets lol - another couple months away yet but it’s inevitably coming.

It’s true what they say - summer bodies are made in winter

Hope everyone is having a great week - roll on week 19!!!

Thanks starry

Well I’m at home with a chest infection - of all the rotten luck - I always make sure one of my fruits per day is either a mandarin or orange and I take vitamin c and still got sick - stupid germs!!! I’m still eating even though I literally can’t taste anything I have to get anti buotics for this cause it’s gross. I’m going to continue eating and drinking as per the norm but will add in a few swear words along the way 😂 I’m certainly not going to let this beat me now I’m under 120

Maybe that’s it - the dreaded 120 curse, ok ok I might be slightly delirious?? I’m going back to sleep

Going into the weekend too - ugh how rude

Hey

Got on top of this one but another day off work - last time I toughed it out cause I didn’t know what effect meds would have on my weight loss - it took over a week to get over that one, this time I’m older and wiser lol so I went straight to the dr and got anti biotics. Your health is far more important then losing weight - so true. Now I’m day 2 and can breath and taste things lol - I missed tasting things yesterday ahahaha. So I guess it’s a long weekend yippee

Have a great day all

Hey

Beautiful day here today - still trying to clear my nostrils out ahahaha but have been successful in staying on track DF and managing to keep the mood up although still in my pjs at 2pm it’s a well deserved break. I’m definately going back to work on Monday and so far the only thing that’s been affected is my sleeping patterns, I’m going to concentrate on that hard out now - I’ve been going to sleep at 3am starving and waking up at 10am not hungry but still forcing myself to have breakfast - it means it pushes my other meals out to later on and that’s. Or good means Dinner has been at about 8pm which is way too late for me

I’m figuring that once I go back to work my body clock will be for ed to go back to normal - which will be helpful. Another day gone and half of week 19 over - WEEK 19 omg!!!

That means I’ve been committed for almost 5mths? Weird but worth it

Hey

Uninteresting weekend was crook - but still working it lol. It’s hard to believe it’s still winter I don’t know bout the rest of nz but chc has been awesome all the daffodils are blooming.

For some reason I was working out how much I’ll likely lose by the end of the 26wks and all signs point to - I won’t be under 100 even by then, I like to keep it real and realistically it would take 2.? Every week until then which is not something I’m counting on. My body does what it wants when it wants that much I’ve learned through the last 18wks.

Oh well will be interesting to see the results closer to the time - until then I’ll keep doing what I gotta do

Though this could be correct, you likely won't be far short of it either - could be a matter of a week or two. What you will be though is over halfway and getting excitingly close to "normal sizes". This "middle bit of the journey" can seem slow and a drudge, but it does pass.

I still want to bet on you, Just, but I am struggling to find anyone who will bet against me! Keep on young lady - despite the recent illness, you still sound "solid" and positive.
Rock on Just,

Thanks Koh

I admit sometimes it’s a real struggle to remain positive - I looked through the Cohen’s website at the success stories and I’ve passed quite a few of them - for example lost 10kgs in 14wks, lost 20kgs in 16wks EVEN lost 30kgs in 22wks, and their finished??? I knew it was going to be a long long journey but really??

I’ll look back on this one day when I’m at goal and think it really didn’t take that long and it was worth it - I agree the middle seems to drag once you have hit the 10kg, 20kg and even 30kg loss - 40 just seems irrelevant lol. It’s the number between my last celebration and a 50kg loss. I think I’m thinking too far ahead of myself - back to taking it one step at a time I think

I’ll concentrate on the rest of today and tomorrow

Hey

Not a good start to the day 😂 and I’m laughing, I only lost half a kg??!!? Glass half full says all goood that’s 500gms gone for life the other half is I should of totally not taken those meds lol cuase that’s the only difference between the week before where I lost >2 and this week?

I’m still taking the meds though cuAse they are a god send and I’m almost completely cured. Then there’s the whole 120 curse, perhaps my body is resetting itself? I’m most peed off at the fact it’s added on another week to an already incredibly journey. Ups with downs I guess - we shall carry on and see what happens next week (which is when I’ll update my ticker)

Morning

I’ve discovered some non-scale related wins(?).

Sleep through the whole night
That yucky collarbone thingy is starting to show (it’s still gross)
My pants stay up with faith only lol
My jackets zip up
My jerseys are all stretched at the front (it’s funny)
Hardly any of my shoes fit
My socks are too big
The charm bracelet I bought that only just did up is now flinging all over my arm
My watch has tightened by 2 holes
I only have a normal chin
Stairs are no longer a challenge
Back doesn’t hurt when I stand for long periods of time
Monthly is back to monthly lol (which actual sucks)
Armed chairs are no longer my arch nemesis

So up the scale weight!!! (Insert middle finger salute) i’m losing and I know it

Precisely!!!

Anyways confirmed with my consultant the meds will be making me retain water which I’ve noticed tbh cause my stomach looks bloated - one free clear week and it should be back to normal. I’ve almost finished my anti biotics course and feeling about 80%. Nasal cavity’s still blocked up and coughing at night but I can feel the chest infection has gone. It’s a particularly nasty flu virus others at work have got it or had it and we are all snotty lol

After that lovely description - it’s time for dinner. My mood has lifted and I’m in week um 20? So another 6wks and I’m going to give it my all and see where I end up - have a great weekend everyone

Hey

Warriors actually won a game and the crusaders - my side are currently winning their final - what else is there to say but I miss alcohol lol - times like this are very hard 😂. I have to find more fibrous veges to have cause I’m sure I’m blocked up agaib, not sure how those two topics ended up being in the same sentence but there u have it.

Still bloated but feel 100% now and I don’t feel like I’ve been drinking enough water. Had a massive head spin yesterday nearly passed out but I’m still 100% on plan and just waiting for my body to catch up ugh so frustrating

Hey

It’s auite a weird day today I find myself traveling through this forum and others to find motivation - I have it in spades but u can always use a little bit of a push. I can’t help but focus on the timeframe ahead - not sure why all of a sudden that has become an issue?

There’s so much reading available on the www that it won’t take long before I’m focused on something else and go back to letting it be - on the positive side a simple 5kg loss is going to show big time and by show I mean to myself lol

Can’t wait to break the 110kg mark then it’s not so far from double figures eeeek

Hi Just,
G'luck for tomorrow. I know - usually you don't need any luck, but having a course of antibiotics can play havoc with any plans you might have had.....
The good thing though is that once the excess water weight generated by the meds leaves you, it can give your losses a big boost. So, even if tomorrow's weigh-in is a bit disappointing, hang in there till next week... It could very well make it up to you with a bigger than usual drop

And 45Kg in 6 months?

Yep - why not? I still see you making that kind of figure, Just - simply because you are doing the work you are doing.

You do put in the effort, so the results will happen. Go you !!!

Hi swan,

I have motivation in spades - consistent losses help but u really have to keep urself motivated cause it’s such a personal journey. You will see by my diary that I loathe any sort of attention lol and prefer to hide myself away, that’s just me - I’ve always been like that and continue to hide today lol successfully too although the weather is heating up so soon I’ll be peeling the layers off eeek!!!

Hope u have much success as I have, I stil have a ways to go but I’m fairly patient had the flu and that knocked me around a lot the last couple of weeks - but here I am still having over 50kgs to lose and still smiling about it
