Default replacement for artificial sweetners

I'm about to start Cohen's tomorrow. Does anyone know another option to sweeten yoghurt other than artificial sweetners? I am highly allergic to them. Are we allowed stevia or natural sweetners?

Thanks

Hi A.
The Forum says Yes to Stevia.
It wasn't written in my Programme book as such though.
Nut no to other naturals like agave, or maple, or honey etc.

Another option a lot of us write about is have one of your fruit allowance with the yoghurt. e.g. Kiwifruit = sweet. Mango = sweet. Mandarin too.

My own experience as the weeks progressed has been a lesser need for sweetening, or to turn that around, a greater appreciation of sweetness so less fuit sweetness needed with whatever Im having.
All the best!

thanks CLS and NSS I'm relieved that I can use stevia. I'll also try fruit as a sweetner too.

I asked my consultant this as I really dislike artificial sweeteners & she said no to stevia???
Is there somewhere on here that explains why some say yes, others say no?
