New to Cohen - some questions
My diet says 1litre of soda water - is there a reason why this is limited and all my water cannot be taken as carbonated. I love to use my sodastream! Does it matter if you have yoghurt for breakfast and then stick to chicken as the protein for both dinner and lunch or do I need to have different proteins three times a day? I am on day two I have very bad headaches and feel like I am getting flu but I am coping just fine on the eating programme - when I feel the hunger pains now I know - its a good sign! Is there a particular time to eat the provita's and fruit - assuming this breaks the five hour window - is there a minimum time you should wait before eating again? I am so looking forward to this journey - I have 28 kilo's to lose and I know this forum is going to be an amazing resource and motivator for me. Here's hoping i can eventually open a diary. |

Re: New to Cohen - some questions
Hi Tes,
Not sure about your home carbonated water qn, sorry. You don't need to have different proteins for each meal. Keep an eye on your losses, many of us like to swap things around as it keeps the body guessing. The headaches are what we call detox, some people suffer badly (read Erynne's diary, she's just done detox with jet lag and she vomited!) most people feel fine within a week. Your body is madly getting rid of toxins at the moment. Rest, drink take a pain killer, but it will subside. The 5 hour window is for your proteins....5 hours between main meals. You can have your crispbreads and fruit when ever. Some have them with their meals, others as in inbetween snack. Leave 2.5 hours between crispbreads, and max two at a time, I tend to have my fruit and crispbread at the same time, I think it's two hours between fruits, unless that's changed. To start a diary, go to the new diary section, and start a new thread name it what you want. That's your diary. Welcome to the forum. It's not often that someone around here won't be able to answer your question. |
