Default WHO NEEDS JUNK FOOD - NOT ME!

Before Cohens I woke up feeling bloated and full from the night before's meal which was still sitting in my stomach - but still I was thinking about what I'd have for breakfast.
Now I wake up feeling thin on the inside and wondering what top or pants I haven't been able to wear for years will now fit me now as the inches drop off.
Before Cohens I ate all the wrong foods, craved sugar and fat (cheesecake, potato scalops, hot potato fries, bacon, fresh hot bread and butter, chocolates and any thing made with condensed milk).
Now I look at those foods and say "I know what you taste like - but you're not worth the temporary gratification because NOTHING can taste as good as slim is going to feel".
Before Cohens I thought my slow metabolism wouldn't allow me to lose weight.
Now I'm losing weight faster than I have before. All this without exercising yet I have much more energy. Dr Cohen is fixing my hormone imbalance and my metabolism is working.
God bless you Dr Cohen!
Before Cohens I thought I may never lose this excess weight - that I may die before my time and not see my grandkids grow up.
Now I know that I will reach my goal - not sure exactly when but it will happen and that promise to myself and knowledge I'll succeed is is 100% real.
Before Cohens my treats and pick me ups were food - glorious food. Whether it was to console myself or to reward myself - to celebrate or just for the sake of it - bordeom! Any reason to eat! And not once do I believe I was ever hungry - just craving food!
Now I don't get hungry or cravings (well the odd one but I drink lots of water and then the full feeling hits me and I lose the craving) I get my high naturally from this forum - all the wonderful people who support me and each other to achieve the same goal - freeing ourselves of our fat suits - giving ourselves better self esteem, better health and a new found freedom called success! I now have the knowledge that I am not alone on the journey to find, meet and show off to the world the REAL ME!
THANK YOU TO ALL MY COHEN FRIENDS Love Wendy xxxxxxxxx

Hi Wendy,

That has GOT to be a gem !!! Words like that deserve to be repeated often. Your post may (or may not - hopefully) end up on page 6 - but it will live forever in the "gems" thread - and hopefully be discovered by many.

Great post, girl

Koh

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

Wendy!

It's so cool isn't it...?

It's wonderful to not be ruled by cravings and food anymore...

I just feel like grabbing people off the street and saying..." Hey come and do this."

That may be a bit rude though

But I'm always tempted to

Great post, very inspiring, and if that doesn't convince people to join, I don't know what would!

I agree with you all and also believe that its the best program for me and you. What more can I say the results speak louder than words !!!!!!

I could take so many people off the street and say to them " Start here toady - with a blood test " but I think its something that each and every person has to want to do - more so than ever before in their life.

Even my teeth have settled down - much to the dismay no doubt of the thousand dollar a visit dentist I attend every so often in Toowoomba !!!!

And today I tried on shirts that were 2 x - 15 weeks ago 5 x shirts did not have enough length in the front to tuck in - even found the shirt my mum gave me 10 years ago for Christmas - never worn - couldn't do the buttons up - it fits ????? perfectly and in 13 days time I am going to wear it to her 80 th birthday !!!!!!!!!! How good is that !!!!!

My whole shape has changed - my 30 yr front porch has gone - well more so than ever before - still a lot to go weight wise so even for men its a whole change of shape as compared to lots of other ways of dieting.

have a great night - I am working tonight.

Andy

Fantastic post Wendy.

SO SO SO true! I had tried not to think about the BEFORE Cohen's until I read your post but your words were exactly what I was like before and now, well I am certainly loving the NOW!

Thanks again

Wendy,

Hi, you and I haven't spoken before as I have not been to regular of late but am trying to catch up. However I just had to stop and congratulate you on what it means to have all of you around to pop in on and experience the ups and downs with.

You Wendy have taken your life by the horns and decided that the real you should make an appearence. Look whats happened not only physically but mentally. There is so much more here than you or I will ever understand but know that once you have walked this path you will never be able to go back. The person you are today is but a small peak at what is to come so hold tight to those horns and keep enjoying the ride because it only gets better.

Love what you experience, savor each and every moment and you will succeed.

Melissa

Thanks Wendy - Mum is as happy as me - and thats very happy to say the least - She has not seen me since last Christmas either so she gets very excited about the whole show and we plan to be there Wednesday week and then have a mother and 6 children only - no partners - breakfast up at Maleny where Melissa hangs out !!!

So it will be surprise for my brothers and sisters as well !!!

All good - I also put a pair of size 40 RMs on and then as a joke put avery old pair of 38's on - a bit over of overhang there but no doubt it'll be done and gone sooner than later the overhang !!!!! ........................... and to able to see my....................straight down look ..................... knees again !!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep up the good work and stay on track - what a life we are lucky to living !!!!!

Andy
