I recently heard that we could claim Cohen's on medibank

Has anyone done this?

Dunno

But if you want a tummy tuck after you need to have been in a health fund for 12 months and havea baby less than 7. then a medicare number is provided and I think your health insurance puts out for the hosptial costs.

Me - having to pay all for myself. Will be worth it but.

Cheers

Hi Sharon,

Yeah you can claim from Private Health. I'm with MBF & I claimed my gym membership also last year. They give me $50 a year toward weight loss efforts ( big woop hey? )
All you need is a letter from your GP stating that it's recommended that you lose weight for health reasons or words to that effect.
You only have to do that once. That letter allows you to claim every year until you're skinny I guess?
I kept a photocopy of the Cohen's receipt just for my records.

Hope this helps?

Cya from me

I asked mine and they said only if your seeing a dietician, but I have a friend her works for GMHBA and she told me to write to the review commitee and they may give me some back from my rewards points.
