In the first month around 70% of people loose between 7 - 10 kilos!

It also depends on how much you have to loose, usually those with a lot to loose will drop bigger numbers than those with only a small amount to loose.
But everybody is different.

I'm in my 2nd month on Cohen's and found that in the first month i lost 12kg's but this month i've lost only 1kg and i'm half way through the month!?!?!
I know there are a whole heap of explanations for it but as long as the scales are going down and not up!!! |

I lost 10kgs in 4 weeks... on the 5th week I had lost 14.1kgs.
I do have a lot to lose though, so I guess this is fairly normal considering the amount I need to lose. |

Im with you Ellouise.
The 1st month I lost 10.8kg's. Im now on my 5th week and I only lost 100 grams this week....
I do however have a few Ideas as to why... however If there were a few Ideas posted in here I'd feel better about my Ideas if they added up with others... Update* I weighted myself the next day on my scales and not my parents and I had gone down another 600 grams. Carla Last edited by cmc; 04-12-2008 at 14:05. |

Shell was right,it really depends on how much you have to loose. Cohens expect me to loose min 4kg per month, and i only lost 3.5kg the 1st month, but after 5 weeks i lost 5kg in total,in average i still lost 1kg per week that is 4kg min per month.

Hi there,
Yes I agree, I think it has a lot to do with the amount of weight you have to lose. I have lost a total of 19kg in 6.5 weeks, but I haven't weight myself in 3 weeks (I weigh myself every month) so I hope to have lost a few more! I know as time goes on the weight loss isn't as great per month but every kilo lost is a kilo off!! Good luck |
