RULES OF USE.

In addition to the ‘terms of use’ that you agreed to when you initially signed on to the forum, here are some simple rules for use of the forum.
We hope that you will enjoy the information and services available on the NEW YOU FORUM and in turn help to make it an even more valuable resource for other forum members. Registration is free but, for the enjoyment and protection of all Forum members, we do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below. Access to the site is a privilege, not a right, and your continued access is conditional upon your acceptance and compliance with the rules and policies, so read them carefully.

New You Forum is largely a self-policing discussion site with a focus on The Cohen’s Lifestyle weight loss programme. Our Forum owner, site administrators and moderators can and will take appropriate action (at their sole discretion) with respect to violation of our terms of use, including but not limited to the removal of post(s) and the termination of membership. In all likelihood, if you're honest, sincere and civil with your posts, you will never have to worry about the Forum administrators or moderators. In fact, they are really great people who perform an invaluable service in maintaining some sense of order in the Forum for the benefit of all members.

While the administrators and moderators will do their best to keep objectionable material off this forum, it is impossible for them to review every message before they are posted. Hence all messages express the view of the author and neither the owners of the site, the developers of the forum software, the forum administrators, nor the forum moderators will be held responsible for the content, accuracy or reliability of any message, and make no warranties, express or implied, as to the content of messages or any other materials in the Forum.

By registering, you are agreeing to be bound by all the terms and conditions outlined below. If you find any of these rules unacceptable, or any future changes to these rules unacceptable, your only remedy is to cease using the Forum.


Please ensure you follow these simple rules to prevent possible suspension and/or termination from the forum:-

• Do not provide untrue or incorrect information about yourself during the Forum registration.

• Do not use the Forum for the publication of any material that is unlawful, harassing, libellous, invasive of another's privacy, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, improper, or otherwise objectionable. Instead, be civil in your posts and be respectful of others views, irrespective of how stupid you might consider them to be.

• Do not use the Forum in any way that may infringe the intellectual property rights, copyrights or other rights of another. For example, you may not copy and paste a press release into a post on the Forum without the explicit permission of the copyright owner. Instead, you may refer to the article with a URL reference and/or quote a brief extract, giving due credit to the author and the source.

• Do not use the Forum for the publication of spam, explicit commercial advertising, or of material intended to solicit a person to buy or sell services, to invest in a specific enterprise, or to make donations. However, there may not always be a clear line between sharing information and using the forum as a place to simply market products and services. If you think that your post might be interpreted as spam, don’t post it. Furthermore, self-promotion should be by way of deeds not ads. Members should make their own assessment of what industry professionals have to offer based on the utility of their contributions to the forum, not the size of their signatures.

If you notice other members violating the Terms of Use, you are welcome to notify any of the Forum administrators or moderators by using the "report to Moderator" link at bottom right of the relevant post, or through the Forum’s personal message service.

Upon posting messages to the Forum, you must agree to that material becoming the property of the forum owners (a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty free, perpetual, non-revocable license under your copyrights or other intellectual property rights) to ensure that the material will continue to be displayed on the Forum. You must also agree to New You Forum authorising the downloading and printing of such material by end users for their personal use. As this is a public Forum with respect to read access, messages posted to it should be considered publications in the public arena.

Here’s a simple list of the main rules:

Do not post any Spam.
Do not spam anyone using the message or email systems of the forum
Do not contact any member who has asked you not to.
Do not post any rude, lewd or insulting materials. (Remember, it’s a family friendly forum)
Do not have more than one login. If you have a real reason for having two (such as work issues) please contact me first.
Do not "Have a go” at anyone. If you disagree, by all means have a discussion about your ideas, however remember to “play the ball, not the man”. By that I mean you are welcome to disagree with what someone says, but you may not insult or ridicule them whilst doing so.

If you aren’t sure whether what you want to do is within the ‘rules’, please contact me and I’ll let you know. If you aren’t sure, don’t do it.

Now, remember, I reserve the right to add, amend or withdraw any rules at any time. I don’t believe they’re onerous.
