Re: Heart palpitations?
Chezza,
If you're having heart palpitations you need to go see your Doc. It could be that your Blood Pressure has changed. But it could be something more serious. There are a lot of contra-indications with the programme and heart conditions, so if you're diagnosed with anything new, especially a heart condition, you need to let your clinic know and they'll email Dr Cohen for his advice. I have seen cases where when someone's been diagnosed with a heart condition while on the programme (but unrelated to the programme) they've been told to stop the programme. Remember, not everything that happens to you health wise while on the forum is due to the programme. I can't count how many times I've had people ring and say "I've been throwing up, this programme is making me sick" only to find, on further investigation, that their kids had gastro a few days ago. Never occurs to them that they have GASTRO, and it's not the programme at all... I'm not saying it is or isn't to do with the programme, but just saying don't assume it is. Go get it checked. And it could just be something as simple as your heart going "HOORAY! I CAN MOVE NOW!" asy

Re: Heart palpitations?
Cheeza, I agree with Asy - you need to see your doctor - I've had nothing but good health on Cohens so I'm sure it's not that, but you definitely need to rule other possible causes out. Good luck! Remember, prevention is better than cure!

Re: Heart palpitations?
Hi Guys,
Thanks for your response, i wasnt blaming the diet but was interested if any one else has experienced them while on the diet . I saw my doctor and waiting on results, they say rapid weight loss, low iron , low magnesium may cause the problems too. Will just have to wait and see, thanks anyway Chezza

Re: Heart palpitations?
Heart palpitations can be an allergic reaction to some food that you eat. Years ago I used to have them every night. My doctor told me to cut out various foods one at a time for at least five days then try them again. I found the palpitations were caused by potatoes, which I ate virtually every night. No potatoes, no palpitations. I avoided them completely for a long time. I then found I could eat them again, but ever since I've mostly avoided them. See if there's a pattern with the palpitations occurring after you've included a particular type of food. If you think there is, try cutting that food out for a few days.

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time. My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight. What else do I do? I help people make money and I help people save money. Please take a look at http://www.acnlinks.clancie.com.au/ |
