Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

400gms down this morning to 56.9kg

I have decided to start refeed tomorrow!. I am still not hungry but I am happy at that weight and I think I don't want to really go below 56kg. It gives me a bit of room to move while on refeed.

Bruni I think I will hang around after refeed just to keep myself on track. This forum is like a security blanket

Maya - hhmmmm I've never heard of Hot horse. Hot Dog yes but hot horse. If you ever go to China do not eat a hot dog because that is probably what you are getting. I have pictures of dogs being skinned for consumption in the restaurant that we had just eaten in Mind you that was about 20 years ago maybe things have changed since then.

AJ I didn't have to prepare food for the boys. Sausages on the barbie for them. They were all well behaved and enjoyed themselves and want to do it again! They won again yesterday so it must of been a good bonding session

Cheers

Tuti

P.S. About hot horse - yes, it sounds funny and I never really thought what it means (as many other nonenglish spoken nations that eat some american named food and have no idea what it means) - but once I was like - hot horse...hot horse... hot horse?!?!?! Oh, my God this is really horse meat??!?!? But yes and lots of doctors recommend it as really health...

Congratulations on starting refeed, Tuti. You're lucky to be able to get below your goal weight and choose for yourself when you want to start.

I love to try new things, whatever they may be, so I'd happily try both horse and dog. I was really disappointed when I was in China 21 years ago and our group was split one day to discover that the other group had been served turtle soup with the whole turtle floating in the soup.

thanks AJ and Maya.

AJ that's hilarious. I could just imagine the looks on their faces. When I was in Hong Kong we went to a restaurant where they had turtle penises on the menu.

Now I'm not sure how big they are but I reckon it would take quite a few turtles to make a meal

Cheers

Tuti

Not one of them ate the soup, Tuti. Apparently it was served from a big bowl with the turtle floating in it, then bits of the turtle were pulled off with chopsticks and added to the individual bowls. I did eat some snake soup, which was tasty, but probably not due to the snake. We also had a brain omelet, which was delicious, probably pig brains.

Hi Tuti
Well done on getting to your goal, you must be really proud of your achievement! There are so many people on this forum that are a great inspiration to stick with Cohen's and follow the journey, and to keep striving for your goal.

I just wanted to ask a quick question - did you find it hard if you only had small losses? I see people with wonderful weight losses here, such high numbers! I feel a bit of a wimp that I am finding it hard to lose a smaller amount , seem to be stuck on 69kg at present....

Anyway, any advice is greatly appreciated and congrats again!
best wishes, Toto

Hi Toto - Tuti here

Thanks for visiting my diary. I am over in the refeed diary now.

I am in week 9 now and have lost 12.5kg. I wrote a little goal list down which was to hopefully lose a kilo a week.

I found it took me a month to lose a kilo before this diet so I was pretty stoked to lose a kilo a week.

When you haven't got much to lose you pretty much see the results physically every week. The most I have lost was 2.3kg in one week and the least was 600gms. I would go four or five days at the same weight and then lose weight. My Cohens weight range is 56-59kg. My goal was to get to 58kg but when I got there I wasn't hungry at all. I started refeed when I got to 56.9 because I really don't want to go below 56kg. Although I don't have control of my weigt until refeed finishes I think around 58kg would be right for me.

Keep at it Toto and you will be at refeed before your know it.

Cheers

Tuti
