Three days to go, Katie. As SMS says, then you reach the difficult part. You'll probably add weight while away, but it does come off quickly when you get a chance to reset.

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

Hey KAtie..
Almost to the very end!! GReat going Now with you almost done i have to look for another refeed diary to keep me going Luckily Louise and Mette will be there soon. I am not much of a diary writer mostly becos i have no time with two lil boys driving me crazy. I barely get to read some of the diaries. So my apologies to those in whose diaries i haven't written. I will however try a refeed diary

Default Day 17, 18 and 19

Hi all

Thanks for dropping by everyone. The support has been amazing and I couldn't have done it without you all. Shall be back later with single replies and summary etc as I only have 10mins before an appt.

Day 17

ovn m/m +200gm
current weight 61.5kg

adding much more new protein minus old. Same with the veg. Not having the milk anymore as I don't really drink a lot anyway. Having my yummy bickie everyday. Nothing much has been affecting me either way except not enough sleep.

Day 18

ovn m/m -300gm
current weight 61.2kg

woohoo got to have 2 bickies today. Had them both too (I'm a greedy so & so). Also had my first glass of wine in 7months I think. Hmm it was ok but I had to add sprite zero so I could drink it . Was a big night for me as my graduation celebration and wasn't it fun. Shall post up pics of the whole group over in my photo thread soon.

Day 19

ovn m/m -300gm
current weight 60.9kg

woohooo cracked the 60's. Officially 1kg under my refeed starting weight. So that means all my carbs, and 2 bickies and the alcohol didn't affect me at all. Gawd how wonderful is that. Not that I want to go back to stuffing cake and bickies down my gob, but gives me hope for an easier maintenance. Sorry I have to run as my appt is now in 5mins. I shall be back tonite for a final summary.

Take care all

Katie

That is really encouraging Katie to know that you can include those extra things without gaining weight. I guess the truth is that prior to this program we were proabably adding that and some more besides, at least this creates a benchmark for the future!

Default Summary

Hi guys

Thanks for dropping by Everyone. I value all the wonderful support from each and every one of you.

DD, that's ok. It is the silly season after all. I had visitors up until yesty, and today I'm off for a week. Hope you had a lovely xmas / NY. Love the new avatar btw.

Vee, that's right. I wasn't going to blow refeed after all this. I have my xmas pud in the freezer and will eat it ASAP yummmm. Hope you had a lovely time over xmas /NY too. Shall catch up with your diary in about a week.

HBS, ty. You will love refeed. Watch out for the signs as you can get some weird ones. Look forward to reading about your RF

SB, I agree. Really hope you found my diary helpful. Means more when you have the rf in your hot little hand and can really absorb it. Don't worry too much it starts off pretty easy before it builds itself up. You will do just fine. I think moderation is the key to any reward food. That's how it seems to me. I didn't feel like anymore either. hahah at no memory of bickies. Doesn't shortbread, or nice, or gingernut or choc ripples ring a bell hehe just teasing

SMS, wooohoo Anzac time . When I'm back I will be baking those for sure. I may just bake 3 at a time so I can't have more hahaha. Wow maintenance land (never thought I would reach here for some stupid reason)

Louise, ty. It is a great time. You will love it too I'm sure. I'm looking forward to reading your RF soon. I guess with the bickies and wine, it was done in a moderate way. The old me, would have had 10 more wines, plus crackers plus nibblies plus a huge dinner. Now I've seen the light. Slim tastes better.

AJ, I'm kind of looking forward to going away and testing this all out. Makes me comprimise whereas at home I would stay in the safest option. Now I can explore a bit and find my boundaries. The scales were the first thing I packed. hehehe

Shanara, oohh cold and wet sounds lovely. Here it is HOT & DRY!!! wanna swap. hehehe I loved RF now only hope maintenance is just as kind.

FRZ- ty. hehe hairy butt. Had to laugh at that. I'm just kind of glad it's over now. Ellabelle has zoomed on in. She's such a tiny little thing. Won't be long and we will be cheering you on too.

Well this is it. My summary of my refeed.

Didn't weigh myself this morn, as I have already packed my scales hehe. Started off with my usual yoghurt plus fruit and had a crumpet with marmalade.

I found refeed exciting but a little confusing at the end. Best advice I can give is plan plan plan. I found that buying what I needed for 3 days at a time worked best for me espec when new protein and veg were added. Now I have all these little packets of meat in the freezer but that's ok I can thaw out some and feed us all.

Now that I have hit maintenance my first thought was my xmas pudding but it can wait till I get back. Am sooo looking forward to it AND SMS's anzacs. hehe

The official clinics record says I lost 1.7kg on RF as they recorded me at starting at 62.6 whereas I had a 700gm drop the night before starting me at 61.9 in my own mind. I dropped all the way to 60.9 most being in the final stages of RF. Even with alcohol and bickies and margarine I still dropped.

I had a few reactions particularly to the bread and milk. But perserved and can now eat all 3 slices plus a little milk with no effects at all. I may be one of the lucky ones who can eat more carbs. Time will tell. I do think I will have to steer clear of high fat, high sugar and only alcohol in moderation. That's ok. I can live with that.

Oh I lost a further 1.5" off my hips (tummy shrinking) bringing me in at a loss of over 45" in total. I sit comfortably in size 10's, some 8's and even some size 12's. Depending on the cut of course.

I love this new me and could never have hoped to have reached here without the help and support from all you wonderful people here in this forum. For that I will be forever grateful. You feel like my family and I hope to pay forward that help in the near future.

As I'm now off for a week, I hope to catch up with everyone's diary when I get back. Don't do anything I wouldn't do hehehe (that's not much BTW)

Take care

Katie

I am very very very ashamed, pretty lady I always seem to forget this part of the forum, and I really wanted to follow your refeed. I'm so so so so sorry!

You have done amazingly well, and I can only hope I will do as well when I get to the magical land of refeed.

Default And onto maintenance

Hi guys

Well I'm back after a week or so away. Ty ty for all the great support during phase 1 and 2. It's a tough diet and I would most probably have never gotten here without all your wonderful support. I hope to pay that forward when life gets back to normal. I was hoping that would be now, but sigh no chance at that.

Well after my trip away I came back 1.5kg heavier than when I went away. I shall put details in my maintenance diary in a few days. Meantime I'm hoping to hit the personal ones and say gday. Haven't meant to go so long without showing my face. So my full apologies, but I'm back (I hope).

Hoping everyone has had a wonderful start to January as I have had. Won't be long and I will catch up.

Take care all you wonderful people.

Cya in maintenance.

Katie
