Huge Hugs

I missed you honey. Sorry that work is giving you the runaround, its never fun to hear the words RESTRUCTURE. My hubby has had it hanging over his head since before we got married in 1990. I hope everything works out so that everyone is happy.

Good luck with the refeed. What does AJ mean about problems at the end of refeed? I don't understand.

Will watch for updates

Kisses

Jo

Hi Louise, glad you are back again!
Sorry to hear about the stressful job situation and your reaction to it. It is understandable and I guess you can only do what you can do, given the circumstances! I'm keeping everything crossed that it's all worked out to your satisfaction.

Hope the backache and hunger is not so bad and will be looking out for your refeed diary!

Big hugz

Vee

Oh God ....not the 'R' word .....I don't know how many of THOSE I've been through in my career....or just lived with the threat of it for years.....in the end I didn't even take it seriously.......government departments are so disfunctional.
If I've got you pinned correctly Miss L you'll be back on track immediately if not sooner . Happy Refeed....YAY !

Hi guys, well I decided to bite the bullet and start refeed today, I had my first slice of bread in ages and I can have an extra piece of fruit today - yeah really helped me to get through the day!

Even though Im not quite at my goal my body has been screaming out for it for the last couple of months which is probably why Ive had some of my struggles because Ive been really hungry - not to mention the back ache. So I will start a refeed diary and get going.

Sorry I havent had a chance to contribute to anyones diary lately, Ive just been a bit busy, but my thoughts are with you and and Ill send you all some big fat melting hugs!!!

AJ fortuneately I will be home for most of my refeed and for the few days of travel I do have in that time I have a hotel rooms with some basic cooking facilities. I have 2 dinners in that time, but I will cope.

Jo, it was the travelling that AJ was referring to as in my previous timeline I had planned to be home for all of refeed. I can really feel for your husband if he has had restructure over his head for so long.

Lili, I am doing it! I am hoping that I will actually end up into a slightly better situation with their most recent plan so hopefully this will all turn out ok. Isnt it a pity they just dont leave us alone when we are happy.

Thank you for your support Kay, I am very fortuneate to have a great boss who is trying to do the best thing by me!

Vee I guess our lives would be boring if we didnt have a bit of drama from time to time, though I must admit Im quite happy to be left alone to a quiet and peaceful life!

Honeybuns thank you for your support, I have my chin up thank you for your support! Hopefully it will all turn out for the better!

Michelle thank you for your support, Im back on a roll I hope and full steam ahead for refeed!

Dedee I AM BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a nice comment from a Dr today who said Im the only person he knows who was smaller after christmas than before.!!

I dont have time to start a refeed diary right now, but May I just once more thank all you wonderful ladies (and gentlemen) for your great and neverending support, it has meant the world to me and has really helped me to get through this adventure. Now I move onto phase 2 with excitement and anticipation.

Hooray for Louise

Your body will thank you for starting refeed, it has been really crying out for it lately hasn't it.

I hope you get the time to start a refeed diary soon, but we understand that you are having a busy and stressful time at the moment.

My hubby and I are just OVER the whole restructure thing. He was recently given another 11 staff so I think he will probably be safe a little longer, they wouldn't give extra staff to someone who won't be there. Luckily we own our house, we don't have any debt and we have money in the bank so if worst come to worst we won't starve or lose our house. All of that does take ALOT of the stress out.

Its great that people are still noticing how fabulous you look, especially a Doctor.

Take care honeybunny

Jo

Congratulations, Louise. It's been more difficult for you than for many, and you've done exceptionally well.

A couple of dinners towards the end of refeed shouldn't be a problem. By then you will be able to eat most things, so just a matter of choosing what fits best and gauging the quantities.

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.
What else do I do? I help people make money and I help people save money. Please take a look at http://www.acnlinks.clancie.com.au/
Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

I got through my first day of refeed with flying colours and might I say I feel so much better. It has confirmed to me that I have done the right thing and in fact probably should have done it a month ago and I wouldnt have had that awful month! My weight dropped 1.3kgs overnight after my first day of refeed which certainly confirmed that I think my body must have shut down and gone into famine mode - then it relaxed when I fed it and said "wow at last I can relax!

We just spent the last hour chasing a snake off our back verandah, which was not easy as the verandah is screened. It was the same snake we rescued from the wardrobe 2 weeks ago - will it never learn!

Maria Im just about to go and start a refeed diary - barring any more excitement on the back verandah!

AJ Im so happy I started I feel pretty good about the dinner, I survived so many on the diet, surely a couple on refeed will be a walk over!

Jo I think we live in a world where change is inevitable and the best way to deal with it is to go with the flow. I have see so many redundancies since Ive been with this company that I feel fortuneate to have dodged them Mind you I have now been there so long that a redundancy would be quite attractive. I think it is all going to work out ok, means Ill have a lot more to juggle but its a good job, I love it so Ill follow my own advice and go with the flow. ...and might I say refeed rocks!

Vee you are so close, I think I have learnt that I should have just listened to my body weeks ago - I hope you can do what I didnt, I was too worried about getting to goal.

Well here I go off to start a refeed diary - Look out for "Louises refeed fantasy come true!"

Louise,
Glad to hear you are in a happy place with refeed.
A valid point you made was that we need to not focus on the goal weight number so much but listen to our bodies.

Hope your job situation works out for the best. I'm looking and applying for a new career change at the moment so maybe both of us will have new starts or at least be happily settled.
Enjoy refeed.
Michele

Thank you guys 1.7kgs loss in 2days so yes I definitely did the right thing starting refeed!

Koh thank you for your support! Yes maintenance is just around the corner and then my own next step my own personal fitness regime to get all toned and terrific - then you really can call me Elle!!

cc, thank you for your support. 1,3kgs was usually a great loss for me in a week, let alone overnight and now 1.7 in 2 days, Every week and every body is different, Im just happy to be still getting some losses in refeed!!! Just waiting to hear my fate on the job front, but I can be reassured that my boss is in there fighting for me - Im just playing wait and see.

Michele I hope your job plans go as well as you are hoping. These are uncertain times and I thought about the option of looking elsewhere, but decided that the bottom line is I like the company where I work and I have lots of long service leave etc so its good to keep going with a financially strong company.

Bless you all for you support throughout my weight loss journey you have sll been my rock through out this time. Im continuing my adventure on LOUSIE REFEED FANTASY COME TRUE Stay tuned!!
