Re: Do I need a new plan?
Thanks Hexi2. I'm not sure if this question's been asked before. On your attempting to lose weight gained after reaching goal, did you find it easier getting into the zone on plan no. 2, compared to using your first plan? Thanks in advance.

Re: Do I need a new plan?
I've just had my new blood test, sealed up the envelope with my new application in and emailed my clinic.
Feb 1st, here I come Today was also the first time I've weighed myself in months and was the bit I was most scared of. I psyched myself up to be prepared to see 80kgs and cope with it... I saw 71.7kgs. 7 kgs higher than my first starting weight on Cohen's, but it still felt like a sweet relief that it wasn't worse. Roughly 20kgs to lose. Based very loosely on my last experience of losing 13kgs in 3 months... within 6 months I should be done and dusted and on track for a new start long term. I'm excited again.

Re: Do I need a new plan?
Thank you so much Hexi and SMS
I have just received my new program in the mail which is perfect timing as I want to go grocery shopping and cook up a few nice meals for the fridge/freezer to make the first couple of weeks as easy as possible, and be ready to start Monday!!! My new program is only very slightly different (in weight combinations, not content) but I'm glad that I invested in it. Strangely enough my new program STILL makes no mention of the precautions we need to take in regards to curry powder. It just says that I am allowed curry powder - no specifics whatsoever or warnings about ingredients to be wary of in them. It also just says any <2% fat yoghurt... no warnings about the yoghurts to avoid. Thank goodness for the forum!!!

Re: Do I need a new plan?
Hi Lulabelle,
I have previously done the program, got almost to my refeed and then... well you know the rest! I have tried numberous times to get back on my old program, however, it never satisfies me and I'm left craving anything in sight that I'm not supposed to have. I joined this forum the other day and from then on I have been on the forum every day, ALL day reading everyones success (some failures) but we are only humans and we make mistakes. The best part is - if you have the strength inside you, you pick yourself up, dust yourself off and try again. Which is what I'm going to do! I will ring my closest clinic in the morning and organise for a new program to be done. I want this more than anything because I've 'tasted' the slim side of life and I can't get enough. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose... Alana |
