Re: Daisy Chain's Personal Diary
Just had a read through of your diary - you have done so well! Have you re-read it lately? Look back at the early days when you braves it through RMH and skipped the birthday party because you were so committed...! You should start a refeed diary now - a new chapter and all! One thing with refeed is don't let it overwhelm you. I spreadsheeted it and tried to plan it all but in the end chucked out the spreadsheet and just printed a couple of days of the plan at a time and took it a day or two at a time Your goal dress I saw in your pics - it is lovely but I am wondering if it is too BIG now? But base on your goal you are really tall (I am a short little 164cm - so have no idea of sizes for those not vertically challenged!!) When you are finished refeed, come and join us in the challenge section - maintaining accountability - we check in weekly to stay on track. I also update my Ticket every month on the anniversary of finishing refeed and commit to being under a certain amount above my finish weight - keeps me on track whilst will enabling me to live a bit as Koh says. Enjoy refeed and see you on the flipside!

Re: Daisy Chain's Personal Diary
Hey DC
Hope you are sailing throgh refeed - I have no doubt you will. You've done SO well!! I haven't started refeed yet - I decided to get to my goal of 57 first. Daughter is telling me not to get thinner, but I'd be more comfortable if I can have my "weight-range" (as Koh suggests) in the under 60's and have 60 as my 'spring into action' point. So I'm keeping going just a little longer - also because I am actually quite happy on the food at the moment. If I start getting really hungry again I may rethink it, but for now I'm happy. I am going to follow your refeed progress as you've inspired me lots - so I'm hoping to follow your example xxxx

Daisy Chain's Personal Diary
Day 170 (week 25) - Tuesday 23rd November
REFEED - DAY 4 Hey petals! I'm still here and kicking on my refeed! Thanks so much jlou for your lovely note, I haven't actually re-read my diary in a long time and I must admit I had forgotten about RMH volunteering - what a timely reminder as I'm actually going there again this Thursday! How time flies and how differently I'll feel about the experience now I'm sure! I'm about 174cm tall, so yes, a tall girl! Especially as I'm always in high heels!! Good idea on the refeed diary, is it something seperate to the one that I'm doing now? or do I just get this one moved to a different section? Koh - help pls!! lol I love the idea of staying on here, and keeping my ticker updated monthly, I think that I'd like to keep helping people via their diaries even after I'm finished and I know that I need to keep myself accountable so that's a great plan - thank you!! Kirst & Mel thanks so much for your messages girls. Chrissie, I understand what you mean about getting to the weight that you want. I guess for me, although I hope I still keep loosing I also need to realise that my body is really hungry and I was getting sick and exhausted and I think it was time for me to finish. This program will be with me forever, as it has changed me for life so I figure that if I'm meant to loose more then I will - if not that's ok too as I'm happy just being healty and being the right size for me. So it was VERY exciting (and scary!!) last night to eat my first piece of bread! I ended up making mums chicken pie (my faaaav food now!) and then I toasted a piece of wholemeal bread (it was so weird buying a loaf of bread!! Lucky they make 'mini loaves' now!) and I put my pie ontop of it. Ummm... I think that my tastebuds were dancing on my tongue! It was so yummo! Luckily enough I didn't feel bloated or yucky, I was very VERY full though! I'm also allowed to have one new 'good fruit' which I chose as blackberries. So I'm now having them in my yoghurt of a morning which is pretty ace! My weight has moved a bit, so far I've been: Day 1 - 75.1 Day 2 - 74.9 Day 3 - 74.8 Day 4 - 75.0 I'm not worried about it too much for the moment as I'm only a few days in, and it was my TOM too. I'm still aiming for that 72kg which I'm really confident I'll reach, and then anything under that is a bonus. So four days down and only seventeen left to go - I'm sure it's going to fly! Ohh - I brought myself another new dress the other night too - it's from the same shop that I got my beautiful new blue dress from. I love it, it's really beautiful - hard to describe but I'll try - it's black satin fitted with a v neck and shoe string straps. It has a patten on it of swirls in a cream and orange colour. It's above the knee (scary for a nanna like me! hehe) and it gathers at the bottom - like one of those curtains that pulls up? Meh, I'm totally not doing it justice but anyway - with mum's wonderful guidence once again ("you are GETTING this dress" - actually she got it for me!!) we got the dress. I'm planning on wearing it to my nieces Baptism which is the Sunday after my refeed finishes so I'll post up a pic to show you all then. Well monkeys, I'd better get back to work - wow it's so nice to have some time to actually come on here again and update you all. Hope that you're all well and kicking some Cohen's goals! Much love, DC xxx

Re: Daisy Chain's Personal Diary
Thanks Bells!
Kirst I can help with the chicken pie recipe as I know that one by heart now!! Here 'tis: Ingredients (you can obv change veggies etc): Mushroom Onion Celery Tomato Zuccini (no skin) We put them into our Tupperware 'happy chopper' so they are all blended up. Originally we just chopped them into small pieces, but I like the consistency of the blended ones as it's more like a 'pie'. Anyways - pop them all together until they are mushy. Cut your chicken allowance into cubes and cook them slightly (so they are just slightly browned) in your frying pan (small pan). Once it's cooked add the veg and stir for a bit. Then add some spices (mum uses Cumin, Corriander and Chilli) I didn't have them so I used Chilli and Tumeric. Boil the kettle and pour in the boiling water to cover the veg/chicken in pan. Bring to boil and then turn it down to let it simmer. Then you add your teaspoon of mayo, and two vita wheats that have been crushed into a powder (or as close to as you can get). Stir it all through. Let it simmer down until most of the water is gone. It normally takes about ten mins or so, I have this one going while I'm prepping the veg for my lunch one, just stir it a few times. Then pop it into a little casserole dish, and you can top it with cauli (allowance of course) if you want - or just as it is. Then pop it into the oven on about 180 for 15 - 20mins. Then I like to let it sit as it goes nice and thick and then you eat him up!! Yumm Yumm!! It's really easy, and it's soooo good! Hope it works for you!
