maybe weigh the whole roast, and work out what percentage of it you would be eating. Then when cooked, weigh again, and take your percentage. If that makes any sense??? It did in my head, but don't know if it translated....
So, for instance, if it is a 1kg roast, and your portion is 100g, then you are having 10% of the roast. If it weighs 750g when cooked, then you would end up having 75g (10% of 750g). Of course, this theory only works if there is no bones. I think I've confused myself, have I confused you too?!! |

I used to cut off my portion first and roast it for around 15-20 mins

Hi All,
I cut my portions and skewer them back together and cook as usual (just remember to soak your skewers in some cold water first so they don't burn).
