Smile Excited newbie

Hi everyone!
So after procrastinating for just over 8 months (I can't believe I did that!!!) about joining Cohens, I made the trip to the clinic and was convinced in about 5 seconds flat that this was for me. I have been with Cohen's for 10 days now, and I LOVE it! It turns out that contrary to what I always believed, I need to be told exactly what NOT to eat.
I started off at 68.3kg (on my home scales - I live a wee way from the nearest clinic so will only be going in every 2 - 3 weeks) and my goal is 60kg.
I have never been part of a forum community before, but have found you all so inspirational - thank you, thank you!!!

Welcome Ibelieveinme, sounds like you are already very focused and you will be enjoying the Cohens journey already. You don't have much to loose so it shouldn't take you long at all. You will feel fantastic, enjoy.

Cheers for this message! I guess the amount I am about to loose isn't overwhelming, but it has been hanging around on me for easily the last twenty years! Time it moved on and stayed gone!!!

Welcome, this won't take long for you at all! But remember the losses might not be as huge as people who have a lot more to lose ... Even with around 17-18 to lose, mine are slow compared to some who are losing (inspiring...) 30+ kg!

Enjoy the journey, simply "don't" deviate an enjoy the changes in your body!! Look forward to reading your diary as you update.
