Todays Weight: 98.8kg (0.4kg gain) Body Fat 28.7% (0.2% gain) Water: 52.0% (0.1% loss) Total CM Lost: still yet to measure Sad to go back under 10kg but must be real at this. Last night was full meal and rich but I avoided seconds which the old men would have done. So all in all, 0.4kg was not bad considered breakfast was not Cohens. Breakfast: 8:45am Yoghurt Snack: 11:00am white Tea & 1/2 Sandwich at Function Lunch: 1:00pm Cheese & Crackers Snack: 4:30pm Cheese & Crackers Dinner: 6:45pm Roast Beed in Marmalade Gravy, corn, carrots, apsarugus and spinach. Dersert: home made Plum Tart with Cream, 1/2 Cider. Fluids: 1 herbal tea, 1 coffee, aim for 2 litre water. Exercise: Very Little Deviations:. Dinner & Sandwich 1/2 Dinner was planner but had hoped to exercise more. No good day. Expect 0,5kg gain.

Despite a normal meal for dinner. Confused? Is it, dare I hope, I am changing my world? Last nights meal filled me quickly and I felt like a barrel. On the old days I would have had seconds, no issue. I also could have had cake, extra sandwiches etc at function and didn’t. Nor did I want to. This is all good. Todays Weight: 98.8kg (0.4kg gain) Body Fat 28.5% (no change) Water: 52.1% (0.1% nochange) Total CM Lost: still yet to measure Saturday I have family over for lunch and we had a large and healthy potatoe salad with crumbled pork chops. I was good and restrained. We also had home made plum pie and some nectarine with mascarpone for desert. I write this because I only added 0.3kg of weight but no BF. So I take this as good gain, more muscle than fat. But Sunday was a disaster. Went up 0.4kg Monday worked really hard, ate everything and went down 0.2kg. Yesterday Tuesday went up so here we are as of today Date: W7 D1 Wednesday 12th Feb 2013 Todays Weight: 99.6kg Body Fat 28.9% Water: 51.9% Breakfast: 8:15am Yoghurt Snack: 9:00am Crackers & Cheese slice & Coffee Lunch: 1:00pm Snack: 4:30pm Dinner: 6:30pm Fluids: 1 herbal tea, 1 coffee, aim for 2 litre water. Exercise: .. Deviations:. ?. Have I given up. NoOOOOOO! But I have to stop my wife cooking cakes and having a slice. The traditional meat and veg meals are ok but the snacks hurt. Peter |

Had I had only 2 with vegs It would have lost more but I was tired and ate 6 so too much pastry. Today needed a large breakfast to work with. Expect minial loss again. Ok. Breakfast: 8:30am Toast with Baked Bean and 1 Egg Snack: 9:00am Coffee Lunch: 1:00pm 1 s Sausage Roll Home made Snack: 4:30pm Cheese with Crackers Dinner: 7:00pm Steak with Zucchini, Squash & Onion Fluids: 2 herbal tea, 2 coffee, I white tea, 1.5 litre water. Exercise: Building fence Deviations:. Toast and Beans for Brekkie.

Todays Weight: 98.7kg (huge 0.7kg loss) Body Fat 28.6% (0.2% loss) Water: 52.1% (no change) Well despite a sausage roll and extra cheese we have very good loss. What all this is telling me is stay away from really bad and you will not LOCK IN gain. For me at least. I amd more physical and I think by now my metabolism has changed from office worker to farm hand. If I go in the paddock, I come back with more energy mostly. Today was hungry again at BF so ate up and have a big social dinner tonight. Need to moderate portions. Breakfast: 9:00am Hash Brown, Tom, Poached Egg and Snack: 9:30am Coffee Lunch: 1:00pm Chicken pie with pickles Snack: 4:30pm Cheese and Crackers Dinner: 7:30pm Social dinner, lots of food and wine. So not Cohens. Fluids: 1 herbal tea, 1 coffee, aim for 2 litre water. Exercise: Cleaning Paddock, Gardening, Deviations:. Dinner big time

Have a social dance event coming in June so that will be my new goal to get lean and buffed.
I propose to decide the total kg and overall muscles look and then calculate each week the KG lost and muscle work out to achieve. Lots of food management but I feel I can do that now. Peter

Great loss Peter, you will be pleased.
I too, think that eating bigger earlier in the day is better than leaving it to the evening. I really would like to do my main meal at lunch time and have something lighter at night but old habits die hard and I do look forward to the evening meal, esp as it is not too rushed as lunch times. Maybe winter time I will become better at this. Yep, farm work as your form of exercise is like killing two birds with one stone . WB |

Thanks to all.
Thursday morning we were 98.7kg and 28.6 Body Fat After a big weekend of social activity and eating inlcidng three course dinner with drink and snacks friday, lunch at town fair Saturday, then fish in cream dinner with desert Saturday night, followed by full cooked brekkie Sunday but cohen friendly stake and veg theta night where am I at. Well this: Friday morning: 98.7kg and 28.6 Body Fat Monday morning: 99.1kg and 28.3 Body Fat So weight UP 0.4kg but Body Fat DOWN 0.3%!!!! Again, using my "bush diet doctor" logic. all I can see is the regular medium exercise in horse care, farm work, and walking/riding has turned the chubby office worker metabolism to lean farm worker? I mean I had beers, wine, rich meals over the weekend and yes it got as high as 99.7 the Sat morning after big diner but here we are Monday, on 99.1kg. The mind is baffled but happy. Regards Peter

FYI I am not on diet 100% but following the principles (no to minimal bread, no sweets, etc.) and I have lost 0.5kg but gone up 0.3kg Body Fat. I think the really low body fat was an error in scales? It was one off and no consistent. But working hard on the farm and keeping busy hence my lack of daily reports. All good though as I am 10kg lighter and holding it. Very happy Peter |

But brekkie and lunch was Cohen friendly and again active collecting wood and unloading timber. Today I had brekkie before i cleaned the paddocks? Todays Weight: 98.6kg Body Fat 28.6% Water: 52.1% Since Thursday had a active but social weekend. Ate well most nights and even days. Got up up 99.2 but yesterday was active and finished with home made soup so down to 98.6kg Set a goal this week to be pure cohens and achieve half way 94.2KG so that is 4.4kg in five days. 4.4kg in five days is about 0.9kg per day. Would be happy with 95kg and hold that the weekend coming and then push on. Regards Peter |

Todays Weight: 97.6kg ( great 1.0kg loss) Body Fat 28.3% ( very good 0.3% loss) Water: 52.3% ( good 0.2% gain) Well I was pure cohens and the figures speak for them selves. It was hard. Three times I could have added ok but not pure food. And the fish was over grams by 30grams but again my new active metabolism helps. Here is yesterdays diet. Overgrams. And desert was strawberry in a little yoghurt. Oh, thorw in two very small vegemite & cheese rolls wife made for pony clubbers. So bad result overall. Thursday was early start and travelling and some work but also a chocolate tart at patisserie and sandwiches as they travel well. Yet again we have good result another similar drop. Todays Weight: 98.0kg (2 day 1.4kg GAIN!!!) Body Fat 32.0% (2 day 4.1% GAIN) Water: 49.6% ( 2 day 4% LOSS) 2 day report and all bad. Whilst Friday was non cohens and then Saturday the same todays result was a shocker and frankly, not believable. What went wrong? Well. we replaced the battery in the scales and I think it has lost calibration. Yes, being off cohens and eating cake(s I agree soooo bad) could have added 1.4kg in 2 days but it cannot have added 4.1% Body FAT and Lost 4% Water in that time. And here is the proof, at the start I was this: Today's Weight: 108.4kg Body Fat: 31.9% Total CMs Lost: n/a I cannot now be 98kg (a full 10kg less) and have a HIGHER Body Fat. The frustrating this is I doubted my efforts with the kg gain but perhaps that is wrong too?!?! What I do know is I just moved down another belt notch. So this proves a few things: 1. Weigh every day 2. Dont go off cohens fully 3. Use same scales and even new same batteries when starting. Updated report tomorrow. I was generally ok till dinner which was a soup with cream and 1 lamp chop. Lunch and Brekky cohens approved. Peter |

So I have actually gained only 0.1kg and 0.1% BF. What a relief. Trying to be pure cohens today. Yesterday mostly cohens but mushroom soup for dinner with lamb. Peter |
