Awww Andie!!! I wanted to give you the longest hug I can ever give right now and whisper to you softly that you're doing definitely great! We all have been battling with negativity and I know that you can make it til the end. That's what makes our lives meaningful, right? Bad things happen for the right reason and that's something we have to keep in mind everytime. I, myself, feel bad when it seems it's not happening the way I wanted things to be. But then, I am always reminded that there's a good reason in everything. And someone up there has planned our lives beautifully and we'll get to figure it out later on, in His perfect timing.

We'll just be amazed why these things are happening now. Look at yourself in the mirror, all the trials you've gone through just makes you a better person inside and out. You are a beautiful woman Andie! Remember, that you are loved, you are worthy, you are made carefully with full of love and affection. Don't forget that!!!!!!! You're gonna reach your goal soon, and by that time, not only you become the sexiest person you could ever been, but what's inside of you, will shine through because you have achieved to be the best version of yourself you are ought to be. Am lying back watching TV and am comfortable until I notice that I have a lump on my side. I have absolutely no idea what it is and start freaking out big time. Hubby rushes in from the kitchen cos I am shrieking like a banshee. I explained how I felt this lump on my side when I lie down. But it's not there when I stand up.
My hubby is literally rolling around on the floor laughing. When his guffaws subside, he camly explains "It's not a lump darling, its your hip bone"! Am so embarrassed but so happy at the same time! I can't remember the last time I felt a bone, I have been surrounding myself with a protective layer for so long! Oh dear, another moment to laugh at!

Andie,

That story made me both nervous and happy. I know that feeling because for the first time I am feeling my bones too. Not that I skinny or anything but before there were layers of fat. I can also now cross my leg. Keep up the great work Andie! HUGS!!!

Andie you are hysterical! I too love my hip bones wait till the knee bones hurt when you lie on your side!! When they do dont freak out its gonna happen😜. Ive been dealing with three sick boys all with flu and bronchitis. And im definately fighting it chest hurts but not fallen over yet. Weight has gone up 2 kgs which is frustrating but im doing an hour of spinning 3 times a week and strength training i have to prepare for a hike. I cant wait to the end Or ill not manage the hike so i guess consultant is going to give me hell but i can easy peasy spin for an hour now😄. I wasnt doing anything so its a big change. Its so freezing here i really feel like my bones are going to snap - bring on the beach holiday - three weeks and counting. By the way thanks for the tip a while back im totally addicted to the mint tea now. I love it - its very expensive though. Triplemint tea is R80 for 20 bags! Glad all is going well xx

Default Earth Angel Andie - 2015 Diary

Monthly Blurb: June 2015.
It's been a month already since my last diary entry (and my ramblings and rantings don't count) so, to recap on last month's achievements; I started back at work, am loving it, new area, new boss, new job title - so am really happy in this particular aspect of my life.
Had success in the 4 week 5 kg challenge - lost 5 kgs in 2 weeks then haven't moved since - so I'm starting to get concerned that an official plateau is about to raise it's ugly head It's only been two weeks since the scales haven't moved but boy oh boy have I seen the cms drop - so it's not all doom and gloom in Andie Land folks! I think there are a few things that I can do to get the scales moving again - lay off the mayo, cheese and yoghurt for a start! But I love them all so much I just don't know if I can go a week without them. Must motivate myself to cook a hot breakfast (mushroom, garlic and onion omelette is my favourite) so will need to get my but out of bed earlier! Have I mentioned before that I would much rather sleep than eat? Well I would rather be sleeping but not supposed to skip meals and sometimes, it just can't be helped especially when I need my beauty sleep

Anyway, I have to start a new motivational plan for month and instead of including 'my life' plans on it, I think I will reduce it down and focus on my program goals.

This what I'm thinking I will set myself (short term program goals) starting now:
Goal 1 - Stay OP for 4 weeks no deviations (I only deviate with Cohen's food not that that's an excuse but at least it's not my old friend pepperoni pizza with extra cheese!)
Goal 2 - Reduce mayo consumption - I am putting it in everything and need to think outside the box with my herbs and spices - maybe that can be another goal...
Goal 2.1 - Be creative with the herbs and spices!!
Goal 3 - Only eat crispbread allowance and no more!
Goal 4 - Drink lots of water.
Goal 5 - Eat fruit allowance to beat sugar cravings.
Goal 6 - Think positively!
Goal 7 - Live, Laugh, Love!

Am going away with hubby today for a little mini - break. We are off until Wednesday. So, when my darling gets in holiday mode he is very attentive, loving and sweet. I have to tell you all this cos I just have to share it's priceless.
So, this morning we get up and I'm a little slower cos I am not a morning person (you all know how much I love my sleep). And my beloved is in attentive mode and I notice he is studying my allowances page on the fridge, my food scales are on the kitchen bench and there are vege strewn all over the place. Yep, ladies you guessed it, he's making me breakfast!!!!
Now what makes this noteworthy is the end result. Now far be it for me to knock back a feed when my darling has gone to such an effort but I have to say, it wasn't easy to eat.
He has given me a scrambled egg with raw onion, raw tomato, and raw capsicum. Now don't get me wrong he for the weights spot on but who can stomach raw onion first thing in the morning. I am going to have onion breath all day!
Anyway, I was raised to never stare a gift horse in the mouth. So like a good girl, I ate every last bite. I don't have the luxury of being picky on this program! Gotta give my baby snaps for being loving and attentive!

Love your motivation list for the month and love, love, love that you ate your raw onion brekky prepared by your loved one (I would have eaten it too ). Enjoy your mini-break and time with your darling one and smile, smile, smile!!!

YES! YES! YES IT MOVED!
At last the scales have finally moved. My Doc weighed me today and I have lost 2 kgs!!!!!!!!!! Well it's about dang time. I was freaking out there for a while thought an official plateau was coming.
This is the motivation I needed this week.
Phew, was beginning to worry cos I had a nightmare that all the weight I have lost came back.
I woke up in a cold sweat and couldn't get back to sleep for a while.
Mini break was so relaxing and peaceful it was super hard to get back into the swing of things but we have managed.
Back to the grindstone.

Leaker news Andie glad you over this hurdle downwards and onwards you go. I know what you mean about the dreams I have them too and I jump up in panick and have to go and weigh just in case Im selective viewing in my mirror. Think I have opposite of the anorexia problem. When I looked in the mirror I could kid myself I didn't look that bad - but I did! My long holiday starts in 8 days mid through refeed! I'm very excited to get out of my home and this ice cold city. I've already packed my clothes since I have so few. Keep up the great work

Not a happy camper today!!!!!! I have completely stuffed up on the weekend. I caved in to the temptation of red wine on both Friday and Saturday nights. I was so hungover on Sunday, I ate 3 serves of instant mi goreng noodles, two fried eggs, two crispbreads with cheese.
I fell completely off the wagon. I don't think I can even pinpoint the reason why!
I have sabotaged myself after having 3 weeks without a loss and then last week the 2kg loss. Now I have put that back on in one day. So frustrating. I know that there is no point beating myself up cos the hangover did that on Sunday and I am going to have to detox all over again. So that sucks big time but I need to reset my metabolism and get the rest of this weight off.
Wish me luck, the next 10 days are going to be hard. But I deserve it, this is my punishment for being weak.
Here we go again...

Hugs Andie and. Double up on your vitamins and chromium detox is gonna suck. We all have been through this and the guilt that comes with it but you have to keep moving forward and downward so tomorrow is a fresh start with no baggage from the weekend a fresh outlook and renewed commitment. Sending you lots of hugs and strength - you can do this look at what you have achieved already!!! Xx

Hope you are feeling better Andie! I know how it feels but thankfully I think you start to feel a sense of relief when you have your 3 meals and your snacks again! It is never the end of the world, we all have things going on in our lives that make us relax for awhile and try to forget about our daily regimes The weekend is coming up, time for a relaxing few days!! You will be feeling great again in no time xo

Am feeling much better than I was a few days ago. Have had to deal with a massive detox pimply breakout. I looked like death warmed up. Everyone noticed and asked if I was ok? So embarrassing, I got so used to having clear skin and sparkling eyes that this deviation has had noticeable affects on my physical appearance. Good news is I am back to where I started weight wise at 103kgs. I feel lighter, healthier and clearer. Am thinking of joining AA to get some tips on how to avoid alcohol situations. Am by no means an alcoholic but am definitely addicted if that makes sense.
If I learned anything from this is that I have set myself back 2 weeks by deviating and alcohol is bad for my complexion.
Thanks lovely peoples for the encouragement.
