Default Restart, revisit, rejoin,

Hi there all, I am new to posting (but not new to the site). Iamb not even sure if this is in the right place, but here goes...I started on Cohen's 3 years go today and found it worked wonders...I shed 40 kilos in just over 7 months and have loved the program. I completed refeed and thought I had a really good grasp on maintenance....however in the last year I have loosened up a bit too much and have regained 6 kilos. I know this is not a huge amount in the scheme of things, but am feeling nervous about the weight creeping back on. So here is my question...am I better to rejoin Cohen's with full support again, or just try to get back onto the basic program to lose the weight? I have noticed a few others say that they have done a reset at times...do they mean rejoining with full support or just redoing their own program. I have redone my own program from time to time, but have never done the full refeed etc again. Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mandy,
Welcome back. I hope you have great success. I would suggest that you give your old plan a go first. If it's not working for you after 2 weeks then order a new one.
All the best.
Hugs Andie

I second that.

I've used my program from 2006 a few times now, for the original weight loss, then after living overseas where I regained weight and was back where I started (which for me was a gain of about 12kg) and also for a refresher to get rid of 3kg. My original program works perfectly every time, but on saying that, I have had no major body/hormonal changes (like a pregnancy or birth) since getting my original program. If your original program isn't working, or you are *really* struggling with hunger, it might be a sign that it is time for a new one, but it is worth seeing if the old one works first.

Agree it doesn't hurt to try give it two weeks and see and well done on stopping the upward spiral now beforecit gets too difficult to manage. You will lose it quickly once OP.

Good luck x

Thanks soooo much ladies this is just the support I needed! I have not had any major changes, just a general loosening of the rules (especially when on holidays) and want to get back to that controlled feeling again before it is too big a hurdle. My problem in the past few months has been that I have 'sort of ' used the program and 'sort of not' used the program.😔 I just need the focus that I had a few years back to get me there. Thanks so much again for your support 😘😘
