Spinach and Ricotta Balls


Recipe Description
Spinach and Ricotta Balls with a tomato sauce 
Ingredients:
all allowance.

spinach
ricotta
crispbread

onion
tomato
garlic 
Preparation Steps:
 
Level of Difficulty:
Easy 
Time Needed:
15 mins 
Serves:
Instructions:
first chop up the spinach then mix with ricotta.
crush crispbreads and mix with above ingredients.
roll into balls and place into a hot frypan until the outside is brown.

in a saucepan place tomato, garlic and onion and simmer until tomato is soft.

then pour the tomato sauce over the spinach and ricotta balls.

yummy.

I am having a go at this for lunch for sure!!! Thanks for your concoction. Isn't it amazing how much we can make with so little ingrediants?

Hi Linlou,

I use the ricotta you get in the tubs in the fridge section at the supermarket... I don't think it matters which one you use except that we CANNOT use baked or flavoured ricotta

I haven't seen this recipe before but it does sound amazing... think I will try it for dinner tomorrow night!!
