Default Starting over yet again...

I am embarrassed to say that I am once again starting again!!! Besides embarrassed I am bored with myself being so pathetic. I am the heaviest now than ever before without using pregnancy as an excuse
Anyway I am starting this journey again for myself but also for my 11 year old daughter who is about 25kgs overweight and I feel like a bad mother.
Anyway I write this only for myself because I need a place to be able to write my thoughts down everyday.

so she and I are on this journey together, obviously she has a dietician approved plan because she is so young and I feel so sad for her but I know that one day she will thank me...I hope.

Anyway so this is week one for both of us.

I am starting at weight 77.8kgs as of Monday 10/10/16.

Don't be embarrassed Sharmia - there are quite a few of us in the same boat. The most important thing is that you are not giving up but are making an effort to be healthy and at a weight you will feel good at!

You can do this!

Thank you Louise

That certainly makes me feel better.

How much have you lost on the plan so far?

A bad mother wouldn't recognize the issues of overweight - you are a fantastic mother to tackle the weight issue now and I am sure she will be eternally thank full in the years to come as the cohen's way of eating is a sensible eating plan that will stand the test of time.

I look back now to when our children were young and life was busy with school, sport, music etc and how easy it was to grab ready made sauces, process food, takeaways on the way home etc. I wished I knew then what I know now but I also know that to eat healthy and properly does take time which is often lacking in those early years.

Looking forward to following your journeys

Sharmia, you are an amazing role model for your beautiful daughter and far from a bad mother. I'll look forward to reading about your journey. Check in anytime!
