Default Gems Diary

Hi there,

This is my second time trying Dr cohens, the first time was last year in July, and I had good results and felt amazing, but then went overseas and when I got back I couldn't seem to stick to it properly.

A year later and iv decided to commit to loose the weight iv been trying to lose for a few years now. I am starting the diet at 63kgs and my goal weight is 50/52 kgs.
I know its not a lot of weight to lose, especially compared to some of the amazing people on here. Im nervous to start but excited to feel good and see the results!

Hope everyone is having a beautiful day!
P.S-Hope iv done this diary thing right

Hi Gem,
You have started your Diary in exactly the right way. Now go hard and get your body back to where it is meant to be. I found this quote from you to be good value:-
Quote:
I had good results and felt amazing
Keep in mind, that is what you are aiming for now, and can have again.

Go hard for it,

Koh

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

Welcome, Gems!

We are currently in the same weight -- I have similar amount of weight to lose (starting at a higher weight of 67kg) but my GW is 54kg so more or less the same 13kg to lose! Yes, it seems so small compared to some others here but is significant enough for us to pause and restock! My diary is in the maintenance section as like you, this is my second time on the programme.

You can do it!

Thank you so much for all your support! So lovely to log on and have these motivating messages and know that I am not alone on this journey.
I didn't mention that tomorrow ( 21st of August) is my starting day, as today i'm getting my programme.

Koh -thank you for highlighting that. So true and im really looking forward to feeling that again!

littlemiss - Thats so awesome to have similar goals, will definitely be asking for lots of advice! Going to go and have a look at your diary now. Wishing you so much luck and I know we can do this!

SWANS05- Good luck with you second round too! I completely agree, we have to take this challenge a meal at a time and remember how good we felt. Its all worth it as we all know.

Thanks again for all your reply's will keep posting

Good luck for tomorrow Gem.... be sure to be organised.
I find that organisation is definitely the key to success on this program. I do food prep for my dinners and desserts once a week so all i have to do when i get home is heat and eat! I also buy everything for my breakfast and lunches through the week and take it all to work on Monday so it is there every day and i have no risk of forgetting anything. It is working very well for me so far.
