I'M A 70'S GIRL.

GUG noticed it before I even got to make my announcement - well done to you GUG.

Have been so busy reading others diaries, that apart from updating my ticker, I've been waiting for some peace on the computer before sharing my excitement. WOW - I am amazed. What a shame I didn't know about Cohens earlier. Not to worry - I do now so thats whats important.

So, I've been busy - would you believe shopping!!!!
My girls hate shopping with me - I'm the sort who runs in about 15 minutes before closing time, grabs the necessaries and gets out as quick as possible.

Last week, I finished work on time (for a change) and thought I know I needed to go to the shops for something, maybe I'll remember when I get there. Wandered into KMart & smack bang into their front display of T shirts. Hmmm, only $5-6 - maybe I'll get some for when i get to goal. Not only that, they had some with long sleeves, and I could wear them under other clothes. I've always felt the cold so have been a bit worried how I'll handle winter - especially now that the insulation is disappearing lol.

After about HALF AN HOUR - wow - a record for me (especially on my own), I left that section with 5 shirts - size 10,, I'll have some clothes when I get right down,
When I got home, I tried them on to see how tight they were AND THEY FIT!!!!!!!!
Now I'm not going to say that all my clothes are now that size because I know they aren't - BUT! WOW. I'm so excited.

So many people have posted in my diary lately & I want to thank each & every one of you. It is so nice to come on and see the encouragement from others. I think that is what makes this whole program so special - its not just "see you at a meeting once a week" but its a constant - there for whenever you need a boost - and the best part is we can return the favour and boost others when they need it. Each and every person on here is special - and the fact they are willing to share their ups & downs is awesome.

Thank you ALL - and happy losing - everyone.

Mum Chum, How absolutely awesome ! CONGRATULATIONS !! I laughed when I read about you hoping you would remember what you needed when you got there, I so recognize this problem ! Trouble is with me I will likely not remember when I get there
How exciting to not only get such a good buy,but to be expecting to get into them some time down the track only to find they ALREADY FIT. Deelight is going to have a hard time finding her beloved sister when you are finished you will be soooo petite. You both are just amazing.

Hi Mumchum,
Thanks for popping into my diary. Isn't it great to buy stuff because it is nice, not just because it fits. I used to hate shopping, since all the clothes that would fit was UUUGGGLYYYY! Now I am going to go bancrupt. I am on my 4th wardrobe since I started on Cohens. I buy cheap, as I know it does not have to last long. I am also in the process of selling the old "fat" clothes. Yeah, money for new ones!!
Keep up the great work. You'll be done sooner than you think.

Chat soon again

You are doing really great girl! Keep up the good work and don't let those darn scales dictate to you how you are going to feel for the rest of the day or week!! Its coming off, slowly (like mine did) but it is coming off!! IT has taken me 8 1/2 months to get to re-feed. Just never give up no matter how you are feeling and heck, the food is pretty darn good too. I could eat like this forever! I can honestly say that I am not craving anything in particular even now. Must be something wrong with me aye!!! ha ha Take care of yourself because you are NO. 1 and you are in control!

Hello Mum Chum!
What an inspiration! Congratulations for reaching your 70's, what a great effort. Your last post was first entry I have read of your journey and it was so uplifting and warm, it has given me such a boost. Well done with your results so far, if you don't mind I'd like to pop in from time to time to draw some inspiration from your achievements.

Well done again,
Lisa
