You know Cindy, when I first came here on forum, I was thinking...wow, all these women on refeed... I wish I was there.... How can other women be sooo happy for them ...are they honest? I bet they would rather be in their shoes ...
but now I know -
because I REALLY REALLY AM SOOO HAPPY WHEN SOMEONE REACHES WHAT YOU DID !!!! It really makes me smile and...it's like... a little victory for me, too eventhough I dont know why ...just really nice to see people fulfilling their dreams !!!!

Wow, this might sound weird, but hey - thats me???

Default I'M BACK!!!

Well I am sorry to say it...but I'm back. Almost at my starting weight. I feel so awful about it but happy to soon be starting my Cohen's life again.

I just signed up for my new plan and hoping to start up again on June 1st.

I see many of the familiar faces and you have all been doing so great. You are inspirational. I think my biggest downfall was not staying on these boards for the moral support.

Anyway, hopefully I can learn from my mistakes this next go around.

I am so looking forward to it.

I am going to spend some time reading messages and learning what everyone has been up to in the year since I have been good.

See you all around.

Cindy

Hey Cindy,

It's strange, I was about to say, welcome back, but I'm sure that is not quite.

I hope that this time around the forum brings you all the support that you need, and you are able to get the results you are looking for.

Just remember, at least you are trying again and not just taking the weight gain and not doing anything about it.
Your strength will get you through the journey!

Thanks Doing it and Shell,

It feels really good to have made the decision to come back. Such a huge relief.

I've been dating the man that I went out with when I finshed Cohen's this last time. However I recently broke it off. I guess I just realized the relationship wasn't really making me happy. Although, we did do a lot of great eating and drinking...hence being back on Cohen's.

Welcome Cindy!

Since I am in the same boat I can say to you:
Let's celebrate the accomplishment that it already is for us to be back here rather than dwell on the mistakes we made in getting here.

And I am so happy that we have each other and the other wonderful people here.

Let the journey begin (continue)......

I was just reading Tiny M's diary and I realized this problem might be more common then we think.

When I decided to go back on Cohen's I got a similar reaction from my friends. Thankfully my family was very supportive and excited for me...but not all my friends were.

Many of them said "you should just do a modified version of the diet" they also don't like that I can't eat out with them and that our social events will change. I do have to admit that when I was on Cohen's the first time I basically didn't go out for 4+ months. When I did I brought my own food or just didn't eat when we went to restaurants. I didn't realize this bothered them...but I guess it did. I'm upset that they aren't more supportive of me. Do you think it's jealousy or maybe they don't want to have their fun screwed up?

One of my friends said I should just keep away from white carbs instead and that I'll lose the weight in no time. She knows I've tried that and it didn't work for me...I've tried almost everything...and Cohen's works for me. Her response was...yeah but you gained the weight back!!! What is wrong with people???

Now this friend of mine has been up and down in weight her whole adult life...is she serious? She knows that until you can get a handle on the maintenance that works for each individual you'll just gain the weight right back...it really doesn't matter what diet plan you're on. Right now she's on South Beach and doing really well. I'm supportive and tell her how great she's doing and how amazing she looks. But now it's occurred to me that maybe she is happy to be thinner then I am now and doesn't want me to be back there so quickly.

I won't let these people get me down or talk me out of what I know is right for me. I'm so thankful to be here with the people that truly understand this struggle. Thanks you all for your constant support. I will be calling on it quite a bit.

Hi Cindy,

Don't doubt yourself, you know it works.

Like some of us are finding..if we don't work it properly..it doesn't work.

Good luck with your start.

Well....just got the email with my new plan in it. It's so funny how it's different.

I'm both excited and nervous to start tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I've been sick the last couple of days and didn't get a chance to shop for my food. I do have enough to get me thru breakfast and lunch then I'll shop tomorrow afternoon.

I will check in tomorrow with my official starting weight.

Thanks for all the support.

Cin
