Well had my first deviation dream last night. It was a dream within a dream. I ate a cupcake (which is weird because I can think of better things to deviate with!), then was hugely relieved in the dream that the deviation was a dream.

I also dreamt that my SIL said she couldn't see that I looked any different, and I was going "But I've lost 5 stone" (which I should have by then.)

I think it's because we went to a BBQ on Saturday and it was al "You look great", "You can't have another 3 stones to go" and "Surely you're a 12-14 already" (I wish!). I think it's my subconscious reminding me that I still have a LONG way to go............

Hey FYM!

I love cupcakes! haha, but that's not what's important here, hehe.

What an interesting dream about your SIL... perhaps you feel like you need her to say something? Has she made mention of your raging success in real life yet??

xoxo
Missy

P.S- When do you plan on trying on your wedding dress?

Haven't told SIL yet (they're in UK, we're in Singapore). In fact I didn't tell anybody back home except my parents, in case they came to pick us up from the airport and thought I was sick.

Looking forward to lots of jaws dropping in June!

Wedding dress is in the garage at my parents. It would probably fit now, but can't try that on till June either!

Oooh, nearly forgot to update diary:

Week 1: 5.1kg, 8cm gone
Week 2: 1.7kg, 4cm
Week 3: 1.6kg, 8cm
Week 4: 1.2kg,8cm
Week 5: 1.5kg, 3cm
Week 6: 1.2kg, 3cm
Week 7: 1.4kg, 0cm
Week 8: 1.4kg, 7cm
Week 9: 1.3kg, given up measuring as I'm so crap at it. Clothes sizes are getting smaller, that'll do me!
Week 10: 1.2kg,
Week 11: 1.2 kg
Week 12: 1.4kg
Week 13: 1.2kg
Total: 21.4kg

All very routine, now. Now getting into the smallest clothes I own (4 sizes down) so after this it's uncharted territory..........

Yeah it's ironic, but not a bad problem to have.

Back in 2001 (last time I was this weight) I bought a really nice leather coat. I bought it on the small side as an incentive, so of course I then GAINED the weight and haven't been able to wear it for the past 9 years. Recently cleaned the mould off (9 years of humid Singapore) and it fits now, but will probably be too big by the time I go anywhere cold enough to wear it.

Ah well, c'est la vie.......

I am feeling the cold a lot at the moment, but even so....... I tried a knitted top last night (with the aircon on) and had to change within about 10 minutes.

Leather coat - no way!

Hehe I don't think I have been warm since I started. I managed to find one jumper that fits me, luckily I shrunk it accidental in the wash and never threw it away, so that is all I have to wear. Might have to do a little ebay shopping as an interim. My hands and feet are always cold and they didn't used to be. But a small price to pay that is for sure.

You will have to treat yourself to a new sexy leather coat when you get to the UK.

Gosh your weight loss is brilliant, very consistent, you are obviously doing all the right things, well done.

I was hoping for another 400g to make it 3.5 stones lost, but what can you do.

I can only put it down to stress and lack of sleep. MBA project is due to be bound today (printing out as I type this) and I've had the week from hell. My computer died last Saturday, my husband's computer that I borrowed is SOOOOOOO slow and yesterday stopped printing, yesterday I was rushing round trying to load printer software on my mini-computer (which wouldn't work), do final edits, and cook 3 Cohens meals to take to work yesterday and today. VERY stressed.

Fingers crossed printer is working now (no idea why!), and IT'S DONE!

Had some friends round for lunch last Sunday and I mentioned that I'd like to get dressed up and go out somewhere as I have a black dress that I've not been able to wear for years, and it'll soon be too big.

My kind friend did some research and suggested that we and husbands go to an orchestral concert last night and drinks.

So I rush home from work, cook Cohen's dinner and get ready.

I've not worn this dress (or indeed ANY dress or skirt) since February 2003 (!). went to get high heels from shoe cupboard and discovered that the rubber heels on one pair had perished, so I had to glue another pair together and wear those.

Went to get dressed. Now I'm a bit lumpier than last time I was this weight as last time I did it by exercise, but I thought it didn't matter as I had one of those black "body" things to wear underneath and smooth out the lumps. Go to put it on to discover that the lycra had also perished so it's now twice it's former size!

Luckily had a nice little jacket thing to disguise lumps instead.

Had a lovely evening and, in spite of all this, I can safely say I looked the nicest I have in years. Camera battery flat so no pix, but we're going back to see Verdi's requiem next week, so will take and post some then.

Wow - glad you had a good night - had to laugh at your early dramas tho. And at least you got to wear your dress while it still fits. We'll look forward to the photos next week lol.

I'm getting compliments thick and fast now, which is great. BUT I keep reminding myself that I'm not slim yet, I'm just less fat. Still got a long way to go.........
