Good to see you are back on track again Roxy. I to have about 5kg to go and last week went through about 3 days of being really starving and weak, would be so easy to deviate during those times and I was seriously tempted. Then I read your post and saw how bad you felt and then tried being strong.

I am back to normal now, seems with me every now and again I have to go through that. My weight loss has slowed right down so I might try and swap the meals around and drink more water as you hae done and see how it goes.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Everyone

Thanks for dropping in to my diary and the good advise, as usual.

Well dropped to 74kg on Saturday. So only 4kg to go. I am back on track and determined to finish and be positive like carrieanne and kim.

Lorner - I am so glad that my ordeal has helped you realise not to deviate and nice to know that there are others who feel like I felt. I was just so hungry and wanted to feel full again. I know a chocolate was not the best choice but at that stage I would have eaten anything that came across my path .....I just happened to have a slab of Lindt dark chillie chocolate in my cupboard. I can tell you that it is really not worth deviating. Apart from feeling terribly guilty I was so sick on Tuesday. The swopping of my meals has definitely helped and the extra water. Try that and let me know if it has helped you. Also get yourself some chromium tablets. They also help a lot for hunger. Good luck and lets get to refeed together ......

I am on leave today and my partner and I are on our way out for the day. Will catch up again during the week. Good luck to everyone and I hope you all have fantastic weight losses. Big hugs to all xxxxxx

Wow!!! You do get back really fast!!! I am jealous.

I am still mourning over my last deviation meal due to my big boss's rare visit and the PMS gritty mood swings is not helping me.

Reading your post truly brighten me up a little. Keep it up!!!!

Hi Rox,

During refeed there is no Chocolate! In maintenance, I have had chocolate, croissants, wedding cake, cookies, popcorn, fried foods, sorbet, flour tortillas, beer, wine, vodka, you will be happy to know that the recommended dessert is Chocolate Mousse.

Depending on your personality you could maybe have dessert 3 times a week.Or maybe even once. What is working for me at the moment is original plan and refeed food during the week and having relax on the weekend. This weekend PMS is messing with my plan a little but that is ok because I am still under my max and I have the rest of the week to get rid of this bloaty. Which as you saw in my diary is either due to tom, beansprouts or chinese 5 spice-those are the only things i have off plan yesterday. I am glad you only have 4k to go because that means you will soon be in maintenance land like me!

I see that you and me will be the same weight when done - amazing.

It is month end and I have a lot to do - got to go.

OMG carrieanne, chocolate mouse, oooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, give me a moment here, my fav ......can just imagine how devine that is going to taste. I think I am going to go your root. Be a very good girl in the week, which is easy as I am at work and busy and then relax a bit on the weekend. I also plan to go to Curves 3 times a week.

Thanks prettymamma, although I was not much a a inspiration last week. Gee look at your ticker go...already down 20kg. Is it not a fantastic feeling? Well since my big cheat I have been doing really well. The swopping of my meals has really helped as well as the extra water. Yesterday I was 74.1kg and suddenly this morning I am 73.5kg. If I carry on losing like this then I might decide to go down to 68kg, will see. I am also doing gentle stretch exercises so I don't know if that is also helping but hey, I am not complaining. Yes, tomorrow I have the refeed lecture which I am looking forward to. I wonder if the nasty clinic lady has ordered my refeed yet or not. Anyway will let you know tomorrow how it went.

Hope you all have a stunning week and that the scales are extra good to everyone. Big hugs to all xxxxxx

Hiya Roxy..Nice meeting you today! Refeed sure seems difficult.... luckily we'll both be in the same boat. We should meet up for a black coffee sometime. I just had to come home to feed baby... he eats at 5...bath at 6... all the routine stuff you know!

Well refeed was okay. Just received the English version and the language use is shocking. Had to check everything over 3 times to make sure it was the same as the Afrikaans. I don't think it looks too complicated but a person will definitaley have to be organised. Mine would be 20 days....yes 20 days, while others are only 15 days. Oh well, what the hell, have come so far so might as well do it. Funny I am now not so scared to go into maintenance. The idea that we can have 2 treats a week did it for me ....must say I am looking forward to the extra food choices and extra amounts. Can you believe that woman says that maintenance is actually refeeding...she is really not with it. Refeed is refeed and maintenance is maintaining the weight but judging by the language use in the English document I don't think she really understands English. Anyway we can add all our extra amounts at one meal or split it up between meals.

Okay enough of that. Mari is such a babe, her photos do her no justice and very friendly. I thought I would not recognise her but duh, she was the one with the pillow....but I recognised her anyway from the photos.

Mari, I will post in your diary now......

I have decided that I am going to try get down to 68kg if I can hold out. I need to start refeed no later that 5 November so that I can be finished in time for my birthday on 26 November, so I still have more than a month. I should make it.

Hope you all have a stunning weekend and rock those scales girls....big hugs to all x xxxx

Ooh, lucky you going away....yip, we can both start during that week..things are working out for us and we can support each other..I should have taken your cell number yesterday so that we can phone each other if we are not sure about things...I will send you a private message with my email address and then we can also communicate through email......I wonder how many days you will get...

I asked the queen of maintenance, carrieanne, a few questions. Check out her diary later to see what she answers. She is really doing very well on maintenance....

Wow, you looking hot, hot, hot carrieanne!! You really seem to have cracked maintenance. Now, I have some questions for you if you don't mind answering them, please.

1. How much did you have to gain to go back two steps on the refeed? Ours is 1kg.
same
2. May you make a sandwich with your bread? We may only eat 1 slice per meal and not make a sandwich.
I't didnt specify
3. Our biscuit has to be a tennis or mari (no not NL) a mari biscuit - damn, I want shortbread....I thought it could be any biscuit just not chocolate or with cream inbetween.
It said a plain biscuit-i consider that those kind in the blue can danish or something-i had a boring animal type cookie

4. We may have 2 treats a week on maintenance which could be a chocolate, piece of cake etc. Nice hey .....that gave me much hope!!It didnt specify just if you go up more than 3 kilos go back on plan-you know me i save it all for the weekend and go back to refeed type quantities and original on monday-thurs-friday afternoon.

Okay that is all for now....I am sure once Mari and I am on refeed we will be bugging you all the time because you are the maintenance QUEEN!!!!!

Oh another thing, she says that woman don't lose any weight on refeed but this is not what we read on the forum....I sometimes wonder if she does not make up her own rules...surely we are all on the same diet.....

Oh well, hope you have a stunning weekend and keep up the good work....chat to you later....big hugs xxxx
