Arrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhh 100gms from halfway, well the SO and the WH were waiting with bated breath for the scale reading this morning and the reading is 100gms short of halfway!!!!!! Nearly a nanfest but not quite - and then the suggestions - did you breathe out, stand on one leg, move the scales, go to the toilet, put your hair up (!!!!!), take your nailpolish off, do a quick lap of the block (!!!!) go back to sleep for a half hour!! These guys are so funny and it's as much their journey as mine!

Jazzi - apparently the trick for the men in our lives is to channel their inner girl - and to not say the first thing that they think - which is usually - WHAT!! And the trick for women is to realise that men are really all just 14 year old boys but to not treat them like they are 14 year old boys!!!! (heeheehee).

And Koh - high tens back at you!

Hopefully nanafest tomorrow!!!! You all take care and be nice to yourselves - it's Too Kind Tuesday!!!

Mark - yes that was 14 enough but the SO beat you to it about 4 times (and laughed every single time!!!)

I cooked chilli squid for all of us tonight! And boy did it go down well - with some stir-fried bok choy and zucchini - HEAVENLY!

And a trip to Rocky at the start of next month that will be a bit of a challenge - MIL is turning 70 so no way I am going to be missing the FC enmasse! Just have to plan meals that can be a bit flexible!!!

White linen pants - are you kidding! The ultimate 'I feel good in my skin' pants for me! Well done girl!

RE: your SO - drop everything, go and give him 2 quick kisses from me - what an appropriate, touching, absolutelly perfect way to tell you things! Good man! [Keep him! ]

Recipe for tonight's dinner? Please............

You sound good! I'm happy for you!

How's the GS supply up north?

Chili squid, cut open squid tube, score diagonally and cut into four long pieces and across into three, sprinkle with chilli flakes, garlic powder, pepper and a smidge of salt, heat pan with spray oil - drop in squid and swish around in pan and remove when curled and white - only about 30-40 seconds. Add some water and a smidge of vinegar to the pan, stirfry bokchoy and zucchini add the squid back in to coat in pan juices and serve!

Kenga the SO said "shucks"!!! and I am monitoring the GS situation!!!

Will have to try this recipe Caro.

I made a botch of dinner last night trying to do something similar with calamari rings except I didn't hav enough bok choy so used silver beet. Too much balsamic and under cooked veges... the result was definately less than satisfactory. But, its the first meal, so far, that I haven't enjoyed so thats a bonus .

Hope you have shaken that pesky 100 gms today. Let us know asap!!

Hi Miss Caro, well I finally had a chance to catch up with your diary. I am actually sitting here right now with tears in my eyes. Tears of pride and joy that you are where you are. Not just with your weight loss but with your life. I am so proud of how you are turning the world into a brighter place for so many just be sharing your experiences and words of encouragement. I am happy that you are finally on the path to happiness that I believe you have deserved for so long. You have always put yourself last, you are generous to a fault and are always thinking of how you can make everyone else happy. Congratulations on looking after yourself and seeing that whats best for all of your family and friends and what makes us the happiest is that you are content and healthy. Love you little sister. xx Amandamc

Awwwwwww - love you too Manda-head!!! (remember that). Great to talk to you yesterday!

Well on with the post - How cool was exactly halfway - I have been watching like a hawk and now the moment has passed and I am on the downhill slide with only 20kg to go!

But strangely the most sceptical 'Watcher' asked me all about the program, and I mean ALL ABOUT THE PROGRAM!!!! Think now the results are really obvious, it may have gained credibility with her (sheesh)!!!! So if she goes ahead I promise to support her when she needs it!!!

My support groupies, the SO and the WH and some great friends have passed on comments made by others which is really great, I have lived in my town for 20 years and have been getting bigger for that whole time - so many people have never seen me here weightwise!

I have noticed though that many people don't comment directly to me - and I get that some people don't take compliments well (that was me too), but if someone tells you you look great - just say thankyou! We give compliments to others and expect nothing but that in return so lets all start doing the same!!!

So you are all doing great, looking well and really achieving! Congratulations!!!!! Caro

Hi gorgeous!

Thanks for thinking of me and sorry for the absence. Couldn't sleep so thought I'd leave some surprise messages for my cheer squad to wake up to (lord knows I hope I'm still asleep... but crap, that will throw out brekkie, lunch and then dinner... can't win)!

Love SO. Again, DH, SO plus the other hubbies need to be taken out and spoilt! Yes, it's out turn right now, but there are those stunningly giving few males who just get that if you treat your girl right then you get it back 10 fold. Now, important question, did so get a 'Promise' for the parfume??? Hon, life should be changing in ALL areas!!! Tell SO I think he's just brill.

Anyway, I've been thinking of you and have been looking at my new jeans. Can't wait to fit into them and promise that when I can I'll take a photo and post it up!

Take care sweetheart.

You have done so well. Half way must feel fantastic. Just think that now you know your plan back to front, you know what to expect, you know it works. There should be no doubts from this time forward. The second half is going to be a cruisy ride to the pot of gold at the end - a happier and healthier you - plus to mention a hell of a lot skinnier you lol

With 20kgs to go you must be able to smell refeed. Just keep a positive mind and believe in yourself. You have come this far and we all know that you will accomplish the loss of the last 20kgs. Say goodbye to them because it will be the last time you ever see them.

Much love
xo

Well, as of this morning I have less to lose than I have lost and that is such a great high that I just can't explain how I feel, but I think you will understand!!

And WSM makes a great point - I thought things in the "intimate" department were all good but now they are sensational, an added bonus for both of us and one that the SO thanks the programme for every time!!!!
