Thanks Andrea I hope I can stay strong next week, judging by tonights meal I don't think it will be a problem, I am pretty full and feel so guilty, now I am wracked with doubt what if I am not in the zone and I put on weight tomorrow?? I had an xtra 40gms of veg & meat & another piece of fruit and another cracker!! HUGE
Although on the upside I am not dizzy now but feel so full.

Hey, with you at a BMI around 22, I am not overly surprised that you are now needing refeed. It''s more likely that you might lose more weight tomorrow !!! The body likes "a bit more" when the time is right !!

Main thing is, in case you don't know, it is important to stay true (that DOES allow for the extra that your clinic recommends) ahead of starting refeed proper. Now is not the time to "bust out" - as it will set you back heaps.

Just hang in there, keep pushing for that refeed, and I hope it arrives SOON for you.... Maybe by Monday or Tuesday? Fingers crossed...

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

Thanks Koh - I must have dreamt about "nasty scales" all night, its funny how my nightmares are about my weight!
I have lost my normal 200gms over night which I am so suprised but have decided that this week until refeed arives on Friday I will stick as much to the original plan as possible unless I start to feel constantly faint again, I will just add the extra crackers and fruit which will hopefully tide me over and if not I will use the extra protein & veg to top me up.

I have realised that extra crackers and extra fruit isn't such a good thing.
I had a dull ache in my stomach yesterday after I ate crackers& fruit and my tummy was rather hard aand protruding (nothing really new there!) and making strange noises all day so will try not to have the extras today and see how I feel.
I havehad meal three for breakfast this morning and will go 3,2,1 for the next couple of days & see how that works but if I start to feel faint again extraz it is, ah the joys of experimenting
Scales were up again this morning which I know could mean a number of things and I am not too worried about it, but I think I notice a pattern that on the days I take the dogs out walking the scales ride the next day. The walks are in no way strenous but it seems to make a difference.

Day two of 3,2,1 meals and all in all not too bad.
I have had 1 extra cracker and 1 extra fruit today with 10gms extra vege for dinner so well see how the scales behave tomorrow.
Its so cold tonight here I have lit the fire!! There really is nothing that beats a fire sitting in pj's on the ocuch reading a good book is there. My partner is away for a couple of nights so its me & the dogs just hanging in the warmth.
When I got home tonight I was so close to deviating because it was past my dinner time & I didn't get an afternoon snack today BUT I didn't I cooked my dinner & stewed apple & have had that now there is no way I would even contemplate it.

I can't believe that this time in a week I will be eating new additional food! 12 weeks has gone pretty quickly really! Someone at work today told me that they were "off the booze".........so I asked how many days?? Oh just a couple, I then told them that I might hit the 100 day no booze mark!!
Classic never thought that would happen!

I have been doing research into how I will eat after Cohens and wha substitues there are available so I can still eat sweet stuff and do baking. I am going to try my luck with Stevia & Coconut flour & do some trial & error baking which my wonderful partner will just have to be a guinea pig! hahaha if it works out I can't wait to tell him that the baking whether it be cookies or cake actually contains NO sugar!

Thanks Andrea & Kylie I can't believe the first stage is nearly over
Well today I bought two new jackets and they are size 6!!! OMG I have never bought a size 6 anything! Realistically the size 8's would fit me better but the material is kinda stretchy & if I don't eat, breathe or sit down they are fine................kidding but they are fitted!
I also got new bra's today & I am now a B cup!!! supose that is a down side of losing the weight you find out your "real" bra size! oh well SIZE 6 jackets who really cares about boobs! Not sure if my partner feels the same though! hahaha

Off to Auckland for the rest of the week tomorrow so have cooked all my meals for the rest of the week and will now cut up my fruit quota too, hopefully I will have enough tupperware containers to take them all
Fingers crossed the weathers as nice up there as it has been down here.

Hi fiona, how exciting to be starting refeed soon! I loved it and had a great time. A favor to ask - when you try cooking food in maintenance, can you pass on the recipes please? I'm not a great cook (unlike a number of my family...) and would love some things to try....never heard of coconut flour...sounds interesting...

have a great week, and hope the weather is kind to you

Well am finally back from the "big smoke" Auckland and it was HARD work up there. I cooked & packaged all my meals fo rthe days up there which was a massive mission in itself as I ended up with way more tupperware containers than clothes in my suitcase! When we were out for lunch I used a plate that had been there for garlic bread & subtly tipped my chicken & asparagas onto it! hahaha didn't get caught thank goodness.
When I first walked in a few of the team didn't recognise me!
It was flattering at first then after a few too many comments "skinny" "stick figure" ec I got kinda over it!

BUT I am back in the land of the shakes and tomorrow I START REFEED I am pretty excited about it but know I am going to have to read the manual every day so I don't get confused.

Got a call today saying thta my surgery is happening on Friday, in a weeks time! Its only day surgery & hopefully I will be the first in so it means I will be able to eat hopefully about 12ish (we'll see) I will bring my food in with me so I won't deviate.
As I will be on refeed I don't have to wait the 5 hours between food so it means I won't be up until midnight to try & eat everything.

I am hoping to lose on refeed but if I stay stable where I am I will be ok with that too, I am within my "range"

Oh wow I found this article about sugar............scary stuff
