Unhappy Re: Daisy Chain's Personal Diary

Day 93 (week 13) - Wednesday 8th September

Morning all. Hope that you're all going well on the program.

I'm a bit 'flat stanley' today. Not sure why, I'm a bit all over the place the last week. Just feeling really hungry again all the time, and I'm craving sweet foods like crazy. I've never ever been a sweet tooth, but ohh my god, all I can think about is cakes and lollies and chocolates - ugh - it's driving me nuts!!

I thought maybe I might be getting hunger pains because I've been having a lot more Sprite Zero than I had at the start of the program. So I've cut out softdrink as of yesterday to see if it makes a difference - I have no idea.

I haven't deviated but it's so hard not to... it feels really overwhelming again, like I'm back at week 1. I really don't understand. I'm drinking all my water and mixing up my foods... meh... anyway.

Have a yummy lunch today, mum made me some Chow Mein and froze it for me (yay mumma) so in my grumpy 'I don't want to cook' state last night she gave me one for lunch today. Lifesaver!!

I also had to make cupcakes again last night (for tonights family dinner) and it was so hard. They smell so good. The stupid thing is I never even ate them before!! Grrrr

Anyway, sorry about my whingy whiney post, but I had to get it out somewhere. Life is a bit crazy at the moment and there's not a lot of room for my whinging in it, so you guys cop it! lol

I'll try to perk myself up and remember how good I feel and how good I'm looking. I've had to buy new clothes yest as my 'small' work pants/skirts are litterally falling to the floor now! My measurements haven't changed (AGAIN!!!) and my weight hasn't moved in a week.

Maybe I need to cut out cheese too... waaaaaaaa... I don't WANT to.... it's the only thing I love on this.... ugh... sniff, sniff.

Take care little shrinking cohenites.

Hey DC,
Hope you feel better soon, I had a flat day yesterday too but it does pass.
I've been getting hungry lately too at times - i made myself busy on the weekend by baking for DW and DD - funny thing is i love to smell what i've made but am not tempted to have a taste - stick to the 'rules' and i guess i feel like that by sticking to my will power i am achieving a better result than by deviating.
*hugs for the whinger*

Big Hugs DC.... you are doing amazing and I think flat days come and go on this diet. You just seem to feel everything so much more than you used to (well I do anyway). I am sure things will start to brighten up - it has been a stressful time for you and stick to the plan has just really demonstrated what a strong person you are.

Yippy on the new clothes again - got to love that part!!!!

For the sweet craving make some apple chips with cinnamon - so sweet and very satisfying with a can of coke zero. Its my cure

Awww little DC *hugs* to you! We all have those days...I have those weeks...LOL! And you know I've had the same cravings too...maybe there is something in the water...hehehe! But you are doing FABULOUS! Just ride out the bad and good will follow. You are most likely a little stressed too so don't be too hard on yourself.

And don't take away the bits of the program you like. I thought about cutting cheese out but then I was like...it is the one thing I really look forward to so why should I cut it out. Must keep the good things around

And yey on the clothes! I've decided I'm not allowed to go shopping anymore as I'm starting to go a little shopping crazy. All I want to do is buy buy buy. And then a month later I have to buy buy buy again! I must do a vinnies shop one day I think...at least I can buy buy buy and only spend $20 for a few pieces of clothing...LOL! Am in the process of a LARGE wardrobe chuck...it is fun...but messy!

Keep smiling beautiful and I hope Aimz is doing better!

Kirst xo

Cut the cheese? hehe.

I just want to say one little thing about the cheese... I am a cheese LOVER! It was my favourite meal on Cohens... and I really do not agree with people omitting it. I am and always will be an advocate for the cheese! If someone doesn't speak up for the cheese then who will??!

Like Kirst has said, and you too, DC... It is one of the meals you look forward to. Why give it up, when there is NO need to?! It is on our plan... it is 'plan food'. If it was detrimental, it wouldn't be on the plan! And, furthermore... the only thing it does- and the reason it is limited- is due to water retention. But, guess what?! Whether water is being retained or not, you have still lost the same amount of FAT (which is what is actually important!)... EMBRACE THE CHEESE!!!!! (in accordance to the plan )

Okay, my cheese rant is over!

Oh and I hope you get out of your little funk, DC!

xoxo

Hi DC,

Are you using chromium? I've heard it can take away a lot of the "I want" re sweet stuff.....

Day 94 (week 13) - Thursday 9th September
Hi muffins, it appears that I may have another reason to blame for no weight loss or measurements, TOM, I'd totally forgotten about it and when it arrived this morning in all it's painful glory I had an - ahh haa moment.

Might also explain the cravings over the last week...

Really busy day at work today so can't type much. Hope that you're all well.

Talking Daisy Chain's Personal Diary

Day 95 (week 13) - Friday 10th September

I'm baaaaaaaaaackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

YES!!

Helloooowwww muffins!!

I'm back to feeling like my normal happy self again, and have luckily shook off little miss whingey and whiney and I'm feeling positive and good! Phew!!

I actually feel like a million dollars today. I brought myself a new outfit and this morning when I woke up and felt like crying I took control and said 'NO' enough is enough, pick up your act and get to it.

So I went and put some curls in my hair with the GHD, then did some really nice make-up and I grabbed my new SIZE 12 SKIRT from the wardrobe and tried it on - it fits PERFECTLY!! Yessss!! It's gorgeous - grey to just above the knee with a big frill running down one side. Sounds weird but looks great.

I also got myself a new black top with funky gathered material at the sleeves and I had to buy a Medium in that! It's a perfect fit and if I was game in this particular one I could have prob gone a small. Wow. It's so exciting not to have to always look at the back of the rack for the XL's.... ahhh....

So I've got so many compliments today on how I look. I think that it's because I'm actually dressing for my size now, rather than my old clothes that were a bit big and shapeless.

It's really helped perk me up and keep me happy and so even though work is insanely busy I'm feeling really good.

Off to dinner at mum's tonight, and as Aimz is still down I'm excited about what I might get for dinner!! I went there on Tues night and she was feeling a bit better and cooked me an awesome roasted chicken and veggies...yuuummmmm.... can't wait!

Ohh another thing that I've noticed..? I'm loosing SO MUCH hair!! Like heaps!! It falls out all the time, and when I wash it the bottom of the shower looks like I killed a little fury animal...lol!! I've read that it's a side effect of this program for some people, and it'll grow back so I'm not concerned. Luckily I have (well... 'had') really thick hair so I can afford to loose some!

Thanks for the tip on the Chromium Kirst, I'm fine again now but think that I'll buy it and take it the week before I'm due for TOM as I think that's my trigger when hormones go insane and the cravings get unbearable.

Well poppits, hope that you all have an amazing weekend and continue to be strong and focused and kick your deamons in the butt!!

Luv to all

Day 98 (week 13) - Monday 13th September

Howdy everyone! Welcome to another fun filled week>>!!

I had a really nice weekend, with lots of yummy Cohen's approved food!! I have lots of pics to post for you all to see, but Aimz is feeling well enough to be cooking again and between her and mum they whipped up a food storm for me!!

I had some chicken and veg wrapped in bok choy leaves and steamed **YUMMMYY**, I also had veal schnitzel with zuccini 'fries' and a salsa and a really yummo chicken pie! It was so good, in a casserole dish with crumbed biscuit ontop all baked and crunchy. She's such a legend they were so good!
Tonight I forget the fancy name she said for what I have, but it's like a veal roll, it's all veggies wrapped in veal and then it's skewered together. Will bake it in the oven, can't wait!

Ohh... I have some more exciting news to share with you all... on Saturday morning I weighed myself and I have FINALLY cracked the 20kg mark! Woo Hoo!! Very excited and I can't quite believe that I've actually done it. It still seems surreal at times.

Sometimes I wake up and get a shock when I see myself in the mirror, I forget that I've done this journey and done so well on it. It's honestly amazing.

So still have another 13kg to go, but I'm feeling really hopefull that I'll reach my goal of being finished by Christmas. Fingers crossed!!

Ok everyone, have a lovely day, I have to get back to work. Will catch up on diaries as soon as I can!
