Apparently ,in Chinese , the characters for 'CRISIS' and 'OPPORUNITY' are the same thing .....Quote JFK....food for thought...

Hey Asy,
Not sure if you are checking your completed diary anymore but if you are the line your daughter said ""Mummy, thank you for getting skinny, you're much more fun now" just bought tears to my eyes. I have 67ish kg to lose and am in week 3 and long for the day that my kids can have their mum physically back with them - i mean able to bike ride, play etc. Thank you for your inspiration...i would love to have seen some photo's but it appears they are all gone off the site.

Hey Asy!

I was just reading your diary after seeing your name around here on everything... I had no idea you were the owner of the forums, though!

I must say, your journey is truly inspiring and you're completely right about the Slimmer of the Year competition - you may not have won it, but you've won the best prize ever - a longer life to live with your kids, partner and adorable dog!

I haven't embarked on my Cohen's journey as yet (10/05/10 is my start date, my program should have arrived today but hasn't ) but reading your diary absolutely cemented by belief that I'd made the right choice to sign up.

Thanks for all your dedication to the Cohen's cause, without people like you I'd be a fat 21 year old forever, and that would just be sad!

Oh wow... I just read all 16 pages of this thread and even though I'm meant to be studying and writing literature reviews, I have absolutely no regret.

Thanks so much for sharing your heart and your journey Asy. You've inspired me sooooooo unbelievably much. 6 and a half weeks ago, I weighed in at almost 142kgs. In order to be at the top of my goal weight (67), I have to lose a whole person (and some). Reading your story makes it all feel so definitely possible.
