Thanks Lucy Lou. Proud to say I went to a party last night and I am still deviation free!!! Im so glad that I joined this as I was saying to myself all week one chip wont hurt even though I knew 1 would!!! Its funny how you think you are going to do something then when you get there you realise that you dont want to and you dont need to.

Looking forward to that mango!!
Good luck everyone.

Hey Thanks Lucy Lou.....I am cool with the fruit and crackers and pretty much everything else. I am waiting to hear about the chewing gum but what has thrown me is that in the program they go into such great detail for the crackers the sugar and then just say sugar fee chewing gum. Nothing else.

Ana - well done gorgeous girl, I know how tough it is for you at home so I am very impressed. If you have trouble adding your well deserved Dancing Mango to your sig just holler for one of the Administrators and they'll be able to help you.

Ronky- that's the way we do it! I was at a party this afternoon and didn't eat a thing. It becomes a habit after a while and you don't even think about it Well doe for getting in some great practice.

Lindy- you hang on to those Dancing Mangoes ad make sure you collect some more. Don't let the hewing gum get you down!

Have a great DF day everyone.

x

Loulou

Well the weekend is over and still DF!!! Every diet I have been on fell over on the weekends when the call of the pub would arise. Im proud to say the pub didnt cross my mind and my garden never looked so good. Purely from all the time I have been spending at home.

I am sick though of washing and folding clothes. Is there no end to it. How do people with kids keep up with the washing. There is only 2 of us. At least it will be less of an effort when my clothes are smaller. I will be able to cut the loads in half ha ha ha.

Hi Lyneel- if you've been deviation free form last Friday you can join in. We have challenges every fortnight so the next one starts on october 3rd. We'd love to have you on board.

Hi Jimbo- have you been DF since last Friday? if so you can join in now, otherwise the next one starts on October 3rd.

Hey Ronky - Well done! Yes weekends can be tough, change in routine etc so you're going really well. My pet hate is ironing!!! I avoid it at all costs.

Happy DF day everyone.

x

Hi Lucylou

I would like to do my first ever challenge! Please sign me up for the 3 Oct one. I think this will help me really stay on track, especially since my losses seem to have slowed down of late.

So I just have to report back at the end of the fortnight or are regular postings here necessary/encouraged?

Hi Francesca

I'm glad you want to sign up for the next challenge. I know being part of the 100% Cohens crew has really helped me. You don't need to do anything except let me know you're in and then after the fortnight's up you get the excitement of adding the highly sought after Dancing Mango to your signature. Wear it with pride! I try and check in everyday though and I always love to know how people are going. Sometimes I'll find a great quote from the forum for some added inspiration. If you need help and support along your DF path then please post here.

x

Thanks Lucylou! I can't wait to start. Will be d-free until my start date of course, but still, it'd be nice to be in a proper challenge come Oct.

Hi Ruby - Good on you! it is exciting isn't it. I love those Dancing Mangoes.

Lynee- Welcome, I've added you to this fortnight's list. You don't need to do anything except stay DF, let me know how you went and collect your Dancing Mango every fortnight. If you want to drop in during the fortnight for some encouragement or just to let us know how you're travelling that's great too.

Here's my quote for the day, it's from SMS's Deviation rant which you can find here for some interesting reading if you haven't read it already.

http://newyouforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6101

I especially love Cocopops' complete change of heart and energy.

This one's from the amazing Faithy:

Quote:
Ask yourself this question.. if your Doctor said you would die if you ever ate sugar again would you eat it? If he was dead set serious that just one grain of sugar would kill you I bet you'd do everything in your power to not eat one granule.. you DO have the power to make the right choices.. one of those right choices was to purchase your program in the first place

If you're one of those people that find social occasions difficult.. dont go to them.. if you dont think you can cope when friends come over, dont have friends come over.. at least until you're strong enough to..

Sure, again it is all about individuals & their right to choose to do what they want.. but for me I want to be healthy & to remain healthy & I also have such an incredible desire to help others because I KNOW that this is the answer..
It's not easy coming on this forum & sharing with people, some total strangers, some not, about my failings, about my feelings.. why do I do it? Because part of me so desperately hopes that SOMEONE, or all of you, wont EVER have to struggle unnecessarily.

NO ONE is saying that it's easy.. but it is doable..
Have a great DF day.

x

Loulou

Hi Loulou,

Put me down for the 3rd - perfect timing, as my Lifeguard training starts that Friday too. Yes, chlorine, speedos......dear me - am going to work in a Community outdoor pool though, so 3 days of indoor pools will be worth it.

Best I start then too, as I would love to have a dancing mango with you before you head off to Maintenance world!
