Hey all

Thank you for your well wishes. Things are calming down here somewhat but everyone still on edge and aftershocks coming through. Be mindful that this could in turn affect anyone in the pacific rim area and make sure you have an emergency kit sorted. Most important thing we didnt have was a radio with batteries so had no idea what was going on in the immediate aftermath.

As for Cohens its still ticking along slowly but surely and I am down to the last kg to my top of range! I have got my refeed programme but unsure when I am going to start at the moment. Have to start by the end of September for various reasons but will be earlier if I hit goal and get additional symptoms. All good at the moment tho.

Weekend away was mainly study sadly mum so not too much relaxation to be had! For one part of the training we had to wear surgical scrubs and the woman who was handing out the sizes looked at me and said 'she's tiny'. I smiled!

Hi ff, 1 kilo to top goal !! that is awesome. For the lady who said about you " she is tiny" right on lady !! No wonder you smiled ff ! You are tiny and slender and gorgeous and a winner and RIGHT on the brink of refeed Guess what ? I had a BANANA today ! Is that stupendous or what !!
I am disappointed your break away was for work.I had hoped you could blob out and unwind.Still maybe being out of Ch Ch for a little while was a help.
We are very self sufficient here because we live quite a distance from stores but we need to check our battery situation as I have had batteries that I have on hand fail when we have gone to use them so thank you for the reminder to check these things. All the best for the rest of the week TINY lady ! he he mark its also all the jumping up and down to get in the doorway every time there is an aftershock that is working better than a thigh master. Not to mention the reluctance to get into lifts means the stairs are giving the legs a work out .

Must be doing the trick with 700g to go!!!!! I can't believe it is so close! Although I remember following LB at the same stage and it seemed to take forever to lose the last 400g. Will book in for full body wax plus haircut next week if its not shifting!

Will be in refeed soon mum but I suspect you will be maintaining by then! Our little pony is still trotting along

700 grams to go?! Well done FF!!! Avoid the fully body wax and just cut your toenails! haha.

You'll be in refeed land in no time!

500g to go!
funny how the last 3kgs somehow seem more difficult than the first 20 put together!! Im sure a lot of it is just in your head.
pretty bad nights sleep with 3 big aftershocks but luckily the littlun slept though. So I dont think Mr HGH got to do all the fabulous fat burning that he wanted to. Maybe tonight.

A few weeks back I signed up to do a 10k run with a friend (thinking I would be in refeed) and a combination of Cohens and earthquakes have meant I have done zero training and wont be in refeed. I have also never been a runner but headed out last night and did 3.5k straight off with only one brief stop. Endorphins sky high when I got home! Ate my cauli feta soup and was v.satisfied. Hope the hungries don't catch up with me today.

I know its not an ideal time to start excercising but I really want to do this 10k at the weekend even if I walk half of it. Its is completely amazing to be able to move like that and it not even feel like much of an effort. It adds a whole new dimension to the amazing things I have discovered since starting Cohens.

Just a note for myself more than anything. Feel free to read on tho!

My first encounter with a set of scales was in my early twenties when I weighed 87.5kg.
Significant weight milestones in my life
73 kg - lowest ever recorded adult weight pre Cohens
83 kg - weight on my wedding day
110 kg - heaviest ever recorded weight at the end of my second pregnancy.

So everything from here on in is uncharted waters. Learning to live in this 'new' body is a process that is going to take time.
Committing to looking after what I have been given is going to be an ongoing battle.
Aiming to get under 70 and to STAY there is what I am gunning for!!!

Hey hey FF... running is so much more fun, when you aren't lugginig around 30 extra kilos!

Enjoy your run, but don't be too hard on yourself, and allow yourself walk breaks, so you can complete it!

Hello FF, I can't believe how well you are going, it must be amazing to only have .5 to go - not be such and such kg's over weight, but 500gms off the target weight you have set. How amazing! I hope they come off quickly and don't hang on for too long. How are you feeling? Are you finding your hungry - and physically, you must be feeling really little now! Have you found you have much loose skin or has your skin shrunk as you have? Good luck for your running race, good on you FF, how exciting. I've been trotting around a bit - I've NEVER been able to run, but it is so much easier now than it ever has been. Sometimes I can't help it, I run out to the car, or up to the gate a few times or into a shop. Its a great feeling and to run 10kms, that would be a brilliant effort and I hope you love every min of it. As you said, even if you walk some of it, that is a great achievement in my book. Look forward to hearing how it goes. ForFreddie, thank you so much for your entries in my diary, I really appreciate it. I've had a hard time with the program over the past couple of weeks, and felt crazy over the ticker changing thing, so it is really reasuring knowing I'm not known as the fruit loop of the forum. So thank you VERY much.

Good luck again with the last 500gms and with your race on the weekend - oh and I hope things have settled down over their for you, I'm sorry you have all had such a scary time in your beautiful country.
Lisa

Wow soooooo close now, waiting with baited breath! You have done so well, and so quickly, can wait for you to jump that final hurdle.

Good on you for doing the run - as I have an aversion to black eyes (from bouncing boobs) its not something I ever intend to attempt!

300g to go!!!!

I wasn't sure I was going to be ready to finish at 71 but man o man the last couple of days have told me that I definately am!
Maybe tomorrow will hit goal. Who knows? Will have to give myself til after the weekend so that I have had a decent D free period as was away from home last weekend and not 100%. So will spend saturday and sunday reading through the first week of refeed and stocking the pantry with the mountains of food I will need (LOL!).

Panda - am sure you are hot on my tail and look forward to cheering you on through the last phase (definately the hardest).
Missy - I have never done anything like this so just to get round the course will be a huge acheivement - even if I have to crawl on all fours!
Lisa - I'm really happy with where my body is at and loose skin hasn't been too much of a prob except for on my tummy which I don't intend to show in public ever again so no dramas!
mumandnana (mum!) - thanks for your support and encouragement along the way our little pony has served us well in the last few weeks and is looking forward to being put out to pasture.
Andrea - its amazing how differently our bodies react to the diet. I still have chunky legs and no boobs and you have tiny legs and yet maintained an impressive cleavage. Lucky I am not the jealous type (much)!!
Ladybird - Of course an all in one lycra body suit will be worn for the race. Streamlining is very important and can shave vital seconds off your lap time
Danders - enough of smelling... I want to taste!!!!

Have a great day everyone.

ff

.3 !!!!!!!!!! I am moving over in refeed land to make room and welcome you in.
Not that I need to make much room for you, I might have a job to even see you Give our pony a rest and then send him back for the next team as long as he is free for Am and Mum Chum when they need him.I don't know if Panda and Never Give Up need him, they seem to be blitzing their way though in grand enough style
Hope this weekend is not too hard on you.XXXX
