Hi Lorner,

Good job so far! I think you are losing the weight very quickly... how stoke you are on that.

Congratz on passing the halfway mark and you are now working towards a healthy BMI...so cool isn't it. The feeling is so magical and I so value it because I know the results are gained through our very own effort! Keep it up gal.

12 Weeks today and going stronger than ever. I seem to have a new lease of life at the moment. Until this point I havent had a lot of energy and have often had periods of hunger.

I think something has just kicked in, I am feeling so energetic and I am no longer experiencing any periods of hunger. It is such a wonderfull feeling, I am a very happy girl

Off to get my blood test this morning and one for the Doctors to so will be interesting to see how my results come in.

Keep up the good work ladies, love reading your posts even though I dont seem to get much time to post.

Hi Lorner,

12 weeks and you have already lost 20.5kg!!! I really hope I will have the same results because I need to lose at least 20kg. Any secret or tips to share???

I cannot resist to click your weigh loss ticket so that I can see your weigh loss chart in the ticketfactory.

It looks so beautiful --- always going down!!!

Hi fornight

Just stick to the program like glue is all I can say. I havent deviated from the program or at least not intentionally. Have been very lucky so far and have lost at least 1kg every week. Your weight loss has been excellent to. You havent got so much to lose and will be done in no time. I think for both of us it will be wonderfull getting under that 70 mark.....wont be long.

14th week has been and gone, where does the time go. The end is in sight but happy to eat like this for as long as it takes. Stopped thinking about this as a diet but rather a lifetime change in the way I Eat. I dont have many hunger periods now which makes it alot easier so I am not in any hurry to finish. (well maybe cant wait to buy lots of nice clothes)

Had to get some bloods for my Doctor last week, sugar down, cholerestroil down, blood pressure down. He was very impressed considering I was diagnosed with Diebetes 2 before I started this Diet.

Seven Days now and I haven't lost a gram, this is the first time I have gone through this. Most frustrating. What makes it worse is I have now realized my scales are about 3kg underweight. Have bought a new set so I can get things right. I will keep recording my weight lose with the old ones but will now have a target of 55 rather than 58.

It doesn't really worry me that much as I am happy with the food I am eating. I just hope the scales start going down soon. Feeling very flat.

Lorner

My weightloss has slowed down alot at the moment, only 600g's last week. At least it is down, every little bit puts me closer to my goal.

I have started recording what I eat to see if any food choices make a difference and have found the weeks I eat cheese I lose more weight than the weeks I dont. Has anyone else found different food choices make a difference. I eat all my crackers and fruit as I feel I need them.

I read everyones forums and see we are all in the same boat but any suggestions most welcome.

Hey Lorner,

I faced this mega long plateau myself for about 2.5 weeks without a single gram of loss. I was very frustrated. Suddenly when the scales moved again, it moved big time. I think both of us have about the same weight to lose. So, going by that, this no loss or low loss period shouldn't be the worst... I think the worst is towards the end when you are close to refeed. So meanwhile, as you are already doing right. Just enjoy whatever losses there are daily .

Flamae

That 2.5 weeks must of been frustrating for you but I guess our bodies will do what our bodies will do and there is probably very little we can do other than follow the plan. Your photos look wonderfull by the way.

I was 57Kg when I fell pregnant with my last son who is now 13 years old. I only got bigger and bigger from there on after being thin all my life to that point. I dont know why I let it happened, just develeoped bad habits and never thought I could ever get back to that weight again. I just dont think I new how.

Thank goodness we found this diet. I feel as though I have my life back.

Lost 700g overnight when I weighed this morning, I think you might be right.

Cheers Lorner

Hi Lorner - well done with your acheivements so far!
I have read/heard somewhere that when your weight loss on the scales slows down that your body will be shrinking and you will be losing cm's at this time... Have you been measuring?
Keep up the great work

Thanks emsie

Yeah thats the beauty of it Emsie and I really feel it in my clothes everyday. Have lost 84cms so far. Usually average about 4cm's a week loss, Its amazing really. Had another shop yesterday at a small St vincent De paul shop yesterday, picked up some clothes there that looked like they had never been worn to get me through the next few weeks. It has really warmed up here and needed some summer clothes badly. Just need to get rid of that pot stomach now, seems to be the hardest area with me to kill.

Cheers
Lorner

Hi Kylie

I am coming up to my 20th week, I started in April. It feels like I have been on the program forever at this point but really to lose this amount of weight (13 years damage) in 6 months or maybe a little over is pretty good going. Look at your loss in such a short time, amazing. For me it has slowed down but there is still a loss every week. Keep strong and keep up the good work. You will feel amazing when your done.

We go to Gladstone occasionaly with my sons tennis tournaments.

Havent posted here for a while so a bit of an update. I am ever so slowly getting towards my target. Will try swapping meals around this week and drinking more water to try and stimulate my weight loss. Would like to go for more walks but everytime I do that I end up seriously hungry. My husband has taken my 2 boys away for the week so I am having some lovelly me time, went for a facial and massage on the weekend, it was devine. Then sat back and watched dvd's. I am feelling really refreshed now, just what I needed at this time.

Had to move my target down 3kg when I found out that my scales were underweighing by that amount. Have purchased some new ones but will continue to record with the old ones for my total loss and ticker.

I drop in on a lot of diarys for inspiration, even if its just for a few minutes read a day. This forum is worth its weight in gold.

Thanks Nat...only keen to finish as I have a holiday coming up and it will be easy if I dont have to take the scales, I really dont think I will change my eating to much after that, just a bit more. I must say I am looking forward to a wine.

Friday I have to go under anesthetic to get a tooth removed. Its roots go up into the sinus and the tooth has died and as been acheing. The surgeon said it will be a big extraction and will be on antibiotics and pain killers following....just hope it doesnt muck things up with my diet to much. Will make some soup on Thursday so I should be able to eat that Friday afternoon hopefully.....Might freeze some kiwi to and make it into ice blocks...think I saw a recipe there....Not looking forward to it but wanted it done before my holiday.

Keep strong Nat.....it feels so good when these last few kg's are coming off
