Ooooh that looks so good Meg!!!

That is some thinly sliced beef!! I have this weird aversion to handling my meat (OMG that sounds so wrong) so I just either have steak or mince. I want that stirfry, it looks like something you'd get in an Asian restaurant!!!

thats what beef schnitzel looks like.

it comes like a paper thin flat piece of meat and you just have to lay it down and roughly chop it into strips. Not much handling at all

You are missing out on beef stews and curries LD ! i quite enjoy chopping fresh meat lol. must be a saffer thing

I've often wondered if we could have schnitzel ...always thought it was only steak bla bla bla...schnitzel for me tonight!!! woo hoo, and I am so going to find me some of those mushrooms......that photo had me salivating!!

yeah for sure we are allowed schnitzel. Its in the Dr's recipe book a few times under chicken and beef but i dont think he's used it in a stir fry in the recipes. Its amazing. Has changed my whole outlook on stir fry's.

Saffer = South african

And running girl i am going shopping on sunday ill let you know if i find it

I just made a soup with thesw enokis as suggested above.... chicken, celery, onion, fresh ginger and enokis. Was so good!!!! They're so readily available in Brisbane and im from chch gutted u ladies r struggling to get them. Thought I was eating chicken noodle soup they r awesome!!!!

yummmmmmmm looks good i couldnt find them at new world south city today just like you said

but the stir fry with swiss browns is just as good tbh. Gonna keep an eye out for them this week

but's it seems like such a different colour to my usual steak cuts. I've heard mixed reviews... It's tougher, it's 'game-ier' (I HATE GAME), I've heard it tastes more strong and I've also heard it tastes milder. So... yep... I'm scared! hahaha.
