Hi, I can do saturday the 26th at the moment, but things can change. (I'm sure that's the same for everyone else! ) Early after noon is better for me, and the Casino is fine - if everyone wants to meet earlier thats ok with me - I can eat lunch on the train on the way in, and have a drink when I get there.

thanks for getting the ball rolling AJ!

Where are you in the NE Elle (nearest major town). Maybe a few of us can at least meet you halfway somewhere sometime.

Hey there guys, I'm new to Cohen's (Day 5 was today), and I'm from Melbourne (NE suburbs). I'd be interested in coming along also if the date/time suits? I have to work around the kids and hubby's work, plus he's training for Oxfam at the moment, but I'll do my best to get there!

I'm going to Yarrawonga in early May for a week, Elle. Let's meet one day then for a no calorie beverage and a Cohen talk if nothing is arranged that you can get to beforehand.

I've just realised I can't do the Saturday, have a hair appointment that day. Lesley, are you able to come if it's the Sunday? I think everyone else is okay for both although there's more preference for the Saturday. I may be able to change my appointment if Lesley can't come Sunday. What time do people want to make it?

I've changed my appointment, so Saturday is now okay for everyone except those for whom neither day was possible, unless anyone has made other arrangements by now. Now to arrange a time and place. Is anyone not able to come in the morning or in the afternoon?

That's okay with me, Ruby. Location? The suggestions were gardens or somewhere with a food court for coffee. Somewhere central and with reasonable parking. If it's gardens we might need an alternative if it's pouring that day, or if it's 42C.

lunch, or better still, lateish lunch for me - I thought crown was a good idea - close to the train station (well, fairly close to flinders 10/15 min walk I think) - there is also a food court at southbank (over a little walk bridge from the station), and if you don't want ot sit in there, you could always go to the gardens opposite the Art gallery - I think it's one end of the botanical gardens...not sure. you could park on Swanston street/st kilda road. or there's parking lots near fed square (one is behind it, but I think it fills up quick - it's fairly cheap)

Sorry I haven't been around much the last couple days, but the good news is, hubby isn't working on Saturday and I just cleared it with him to come along! He'll take the kids to the Aquarium or something like that, so I can't stay for hours on end, but at least 1 or 2! The Crown food court sounds good to me, but I'm easy, so wherever you guys decide.
