Hmm - no rice cakes at all. But Laura mentioned cauli rice. Which is cauliflower grated to look like rice. (Part of veg allowance)

Tried this one the other night. I used the same recipe and then on the second time I tried it without the mayo and it was still delicious. I also thought you could use the same recipe with no meat but used cheese insted to make a delicious tomato soup.

Yeah it would be a great freezing recipe. I also thought making meat balls with paprika/herbs in them and add them to the frypan of vegie and tomatoe sauce from this recipe. That would be nice too.

I also made a great chicken soup the other day. It seems I can't remember what I put in it. Ha! Who would have thought a blonde could forget something like that. Anyway if I make it tonight and it tastes good I will post the recipe. This time I'm going to write it down !!!!!!

I also tried this recipe and it made a lovely change. Next time I think I will add a bit of chilli and garlic though and see what that is like.
Thanks for something new!!!

I made the variation of this with garlic, chilli and zucchini but no diet sprite. Haven't tasted it yet because this is for tomorrow's lunch but it looks really good! Can imagine myself eating this with saladas.

It is very yummy...

As a thought... if it is still delicious without the mayo
Perhaps use cauliflower for the veg allowance and use the mayo
in that for mashing... be like having paprika chicken on mashed spuds!

I cooked this up for dinner again tonight and have pulled more chicken out of the freezer to make another batch for lunch tomorrow
I love paprika as well... That's what is used in a Traditional Hungarian Goulash
Very delicious and definately one of my favourites!

Thank you so much - I am new to this diet and was just about to give up because I was tired of spinach and chicken salad for lunch and dinner - and I could not image not eating something creamy textured for the next 6 months - so a big thankyou

I tried making this using a medley of calamari (squid) and prawns as the protein component. It was very very good as well!

This was for lunch today again! I am always looking forward to lunch when I make this because after reheating it is so warm and nice. I ate it slowly to savour each bite.

One of my condiments is Sarawak Black Pepper (freshly grinded) from the cracker and also one bay leaf. I don't weigh the bay leaf but I must say it really gave extra flavour to this dish! I never used the sweetener too since Day 1.
