I have learned that nothing is impossible with hardwork and discipline ..and most importantly, I have learned to conquer my greatest opponent, myself

Once you're successfully back in control of your own mind, you can make your own positive choices.

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

Well I did find out - I am not as big boned as I thought! Bigger boned than some but still capable of looking very little.

I have learnt that I can get back down to the weight I was 18 years ago! (When I was 18!) I've also learnt to value my health and myself. Life is fantastic!!

I've also learned that I caused my own IBS. It wasn't something that just happened to me and I was unlucky.

Also this: bread is BAD.......it causes wind and bloating

And most of all; I've learned exactly how much food your body actually needs to survive and thrive, as opposed to how much you think it needs.......

So far i have learnt
*Time passes very quickly on cohens, with very great results
*I am stronger than i ever thought faced with social gatehrings etc
*I can do this 'd' free
*THIS is how everybody should be eating, fresh foods, small portions - we dont HAVE to have 0 slices of bread a day
*Diet coke/sprite zero is fantastic to cook with
*Cohens ladies (and men) are more supportive than any of my friends and understand what i am going through

ummmmmmmmmm i have heaps and im sure i will have many more in the months that follow

oh and ive learnt the Dr Cohen is a genuis and i own him my new found confidence and happiness.

My body knows better than me!

Oh...and also, I can make a divine tasting curry using water, 1 tsp curry powder and 1tsp low fat mayo...no need for all the cream and oils!
Cohen's food is so yummy, and fresh n clean tasting on the palette of my mouth! Super yay!

1. I have learned that I can enjoy any food I want, in moderation and in proportion.
2. I have learned that I don't need a carb at every meal (the old, meat & potatoes regimine) I LOVED the protein and vegetables on the programme.
3. I learned that I look much better now then I did before Cohen's.

I have learnt......
* that my husband is definately my biggest supporter and biggest motivator...
* that what your kids see you doing really does rub off on them in EVERY way (now my 6 yr old asks about everything "is that on your plan")
* that feling great and looking great go hand in hand
* that i really am strong enough to go without alcohol and not miss it ( suprised myself lol)
*the feeling that is just AWESOME when you go shopping and walk out with size 10 jeans

i could keep going but that is enough for today.

cheers

I learned that supporting others through their own journeys (dieting or otherwise) has given me more joy than I got from food.

I learned to be patient with myself and not compare my weight loss to others.

I am worthy to be taken cared of--- by nobody else but myself. Therefore, I quit smoking and shopped for myself once in a while (I never do this!).

Doing Cohens is one of the best decisions I did!
