Just a big happy hushpuppy I haven't "done" Cohens - Asy knows me from way back - she invited me to "take a look" here - I did, loved it, and stayed... And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !! |

Re: Things you've learned on Cohens (add yours)
I've also learned that I caused my own IBS. It wasn't something that just happened to me and I was unlucky.
Also this: bread is BAD.......it causes wind and bloating And most of all; I've learned exactly how much food your body actually needs to survive and thrive, as opposed to how much you think it needs....... |

My body knows better than me!
Oh...and also, I can make a divine tasting curry using water, 1 tsp curry powder and 1tsp low fat mayo...no need for all the cream and oils! Cohen's food is so yummy, and fresh n clean tasting on the palette of my mouth! Super yay!

Re: Things you've learned on Cohens (add yours)
1. I have learned that I can enjoy any food I want, in moderation and in proportion.
2. I have learned that I don't need a carb at every meal (the old, meat & potatoes regimine) I LOVED the protein and vegetables on the programme. 3. I learned that I look much better now then I did before Cohen's. |

Re: Things you've learned on Cohens (add yours)
I learned that supporting others through their own journeys (dieting or otherwise) has given me more joy than I got from food.
I learned to be patient with myself and not compare my weight loss to others. I am worthy to be taken cared of--- by nobody else but myself. Therefore, I quit smoking and shopped for myself once in a while (I never do this!). Doing Cohens is one of the best decisions I did!
