Hi friends,
It's been a while...in fact the last time I came back was only for a short while before disappearing again - so apologies for that.
I'm glad you're still here, there's a lot on newbies that weren't around when I was on before so the forum does seem a tad unfamiliar.
The last time I came back I had reached about 80kg'ish (up 5kg from my maintenance start weight back in July 2009. I tried to do a patch-work job between breakie and lunch on cohens and dinner was some hash-up between refeed and normal. It didn't work.
I've been planning to start over again for a while, but I put it off until we had a new maid starting as I didn't have the time to prepare my food. It's still not ideal, as I'm still working long hours, travelling a lot, have a holiday coming up, have family visiting etc, etc. However, I decided to start anyway. This will be a bigger challenge than I had first time around when I had a clear run of about 3 months without any difficult periods in terms of travel and holidays etc.
But the upside is that if I can do this during these periods, I think I'll be set up for any eventuality or situation.
I won't join this 'Back to Basics' group unfortunately because I have started from the beginning. I was 90kg when I hit the scales on Tuesday (that means I put on 15Kg of all that fat I managed to get rid of the first time around). Ashamed? indeed I am!
I'm 88.3 this morning and I'm determined to get back to 72kg or even less (ideally 70kg) by Christmas.
I'm not sure how often I'll be able to pop by the forum but when I do I'll pop by here and say hello.
Good luck to you all,
Marc

Hi Pandora,

You can record my start weight at 67.2kg as that was my start weight at the beginning of the challenge when I signed up on the Tuesday. I actually started back on Cohens on the Sunday so I just put down my total loss since starting back on plan. As long as I'm going down I'm happy! So I guess that would make my loss 1.6kg for the challenge.

Suzie

Thanks again for the update Suzie. Either way fantastic loss for your first week girl!

Oh and cant help but notice that Carrianne and moi are same BMI 25.5 so lets see how that number drops too? Who will win the Carrieanne and Pandora BMI challenge LOL!?

Oh and exactly where are the rest of our group, hmm, we are only 4 with at least 3 others missing?

results again with amounts to go until goal
Pandora = 64.5kg = -800g with 7.5kg to goal
Fornight = 66kg = -1.5kg with 9kg to goal
Suzie = 65.6kg = - 3.4kg with 11.6kg to goal
Carrieanne = 71.1kg = -900g with 6.1kg to goal

Boohoo, Pandora slinks guiltily to the computer, hmm, a 2 day 3 night away business conference with hubby. Damage = 1kg gained. I did my best (mostly ????) with quantities, Cohen veg, etc but i guess my results were more like day 15 ? of refeed (where you can have extra protein and veg and a glass of wine). All in all, i wont really beat self up too much as i am still 3kg down in 2.5 weeks.

So not my best week 2 of our grads challenge, hmmm. How is everyone else doing? And Fornight, focus on the positive side as you are still 1.3kg down! P

Well, glad I am not the only one slinking over to the computer Pandora..... Confession time, I also was not 100% this week, missed too many meals which led to cravings and eating off plan...bugger. My damage is no loss this week I'm afraid, I guess is better than gaining?

I vow this week will be a much better week.

Suzie
